**RUMOR** Rashad Evans vs James Irvin
I was on MMAPLAYGROUND and on the select your fights section it has Irvin vs Evans on it. I don't know if there is any truth to this, but hopefully Irvin wins which he will if Rashad comes to fight and not make sweet love in the Octagon.

This has already been talked about...I think its just going to be Leben vs. Bisping at UFC 85, even though thats still a rumour.

No longer a rumor.... Irvin KO round 2. I think it will be a lot like the Terry Martin fight.

I see Rashad winning by some sweet sweet LNP. Irvin doesn't have the TD defense for someone like Rashad.
TICL while what you said about the Irvin vs Martin fight would be sweet, that's like a one in a million kind of thing.
I'm really pulling for Irvin to win.

I will have to go w/ Evans in this one. I'd like to see Irvin win, but I just don't think that he will be able to keep the fight on their feet. Time will tell.

I'd love to see Irvin win with a highlight reel KO, but I see Rashad winning another boring LnP decision. I hate that Chuck got injured. He's the exact fighter to put Rashad in his place. His style is perfect to KTFO Rashad.

i dont understand this "put rashad in his place" stuff
when have we heard from Rashad? before and after fights and thats it, i think it is safe to say that he spends his time training and with his new wife not talking **** like people always say he is...and hes not shooting pistols at fans after fights either
i really dont understand the attribution of qualities applied to rashad
i wish we would hear more from Rashad, hes not a fighter that is all out there in fact id say he is the most low key TUF winner...he fights ad you dont hear from him until his next fight but somehow he is the anti christ that needs to be put in his place

Yeah I don't understand all the dislike of Rashad. I actually find him to be quite talented. Sure he has had some lack luster fights against some big names (Tito, Bisping), but not everyone can be a highlight king. I'm sure as his striking gets better (and it is getting better), he may grace us with a nice KO of his opponent.
