Niiiice, thanks again Heat, and thanks to everyone that threw down this month. Great turnout, and the rankings look pretty good.

They indeed look good.

It's a shame there's no Sokoudjou in the LHW. He needs to be there, IMO. Put him above Rashad and take Tito out.

I'm not sold on Soku personally. He looked pretty helpless off of his back, and one can't help but think Rashad would put him there consistently. If he steamrolls Nakamura, and Machida steamrolls Tito, then I'll put him back in my top ten. Until then, he's just too one dimensional for me.

You're the man, Heat. Thanks.

I'll say it again...that LW division is nuts. What a tough one to rank but too many guys are sleeping on Danzig. With the nature of that div, I guess he needs a few wins under his belt though.

I agree; I know he does not have too many fights in the UFC but I believe he is the real deal. Also, Damian Maia wins 1 fight and he is in the top 10, I am not buying that. The rankings over-all are very accurate though, thanx Heat and very good job once again. I do hope we see all unaminus champs next time but if BJ loses I bet he still gets atleast 1 vote. If he wins though we may very well see it.....

He's actually 2-0 in the UFC, and 7-0 overall.

Im far happier with him in a top 10 than Brock Lesnar. While Brock may have a lot of potential, he's 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the UFC. As much as I hate to say it, imo Eddie Sanchez and McCully should both be ranked above him as they both have UFC wins...Brock does not.

I was not aware of his 1st win, but I still want to see more of him b/4 I rank him in my top 10. I agree w/ your point on Lesnar and the only reason I have him ranked in my rankings is due to lack of options. I believe he could beat Sanchez and McCully as I am not impressed w/ either 1 of them but I agree it is still a "pick em" sort of deal as far as rankings as it doesnt bother me to see either of them ranked instead of Lesnar.....

Is the Soko thing just a way for the PRIDE fans to show some love? The guy had 2 flash KO's, got schooled by LYOTO, and also has a loss to GLOVER TEIXERA on his record.

Oh and ranking Tito over Gouveia heh

He also KO'd two top10 LHWs last year.

*edit* I didnt personally rank him btw, as these are UFC rankings and he hasnt actually won in the UFC yet (much like Lesnar), but I can see why people have.

And that was my reason for ranking him.

And lot's of guys get schooled by Machida. He's good at making guys look really bad.

These rankings look great - WW looks perfect, though it is kinda disappointing that I can't come up with a good argument for why Serra should be ranked higher

I can't really argue with LW, WW, LHW or HW. As for MW though, I can't believe Bisping is above Macdonald and Macdonald is unranked. Bisping has only beaten McCarthy in that division - I don't think that merits a top 10 spot.

Great great rankings!

The only thing I disagree with is Machida being ranked at number 2. He is good but has not fought the creme of the crop.

I really hope we get to see Forrest vs. Machida at some point - I think that fight would be insane!

Jason Lambert had little problem taking Gouveia down and controlling him, in a fight Wilson was starting to fade quickly in until he caught Lambert. He was doing well against Jardine until he gassed in that one too. Not sold on him either, and until he beats a legit top 10 fighter and doesn't gas after one round, he stays out of my top 10.

I am not big on Bisping either; I do believe Leben should be ranked ahead of him but I have no problem w/ him being in the top 10 b/c I believe he is 1 of the 10 best MWs. I also believe some of what he did at LHW should be taken into account.....

I just dont get the Tito love. In the past 2 years he had an arguable decision win over Forrest, beat Can Shamrock twice, and got starched by Iceman.
