Hughes v. Alves the main event
Seriously? I was hoping for some late breaking fight to be added as the main.
Oh well...they can't all have great headliners. There are always good fights on the card and this is no exception but selling this one as the main event is kinda weak, IMO. I just look forward to countdown shows and getting exciting waiting for the last fight. This one...eh.
86 and 87 look pretty stacked though with good mains!

This card is pretty damn solid featuring numerous guys who might be title contenders in the next 12-18 months. People complaining about this card is getting PLAYED

I agree that Hughes/Alves does'nt bring the same excitement as some previous Main Events. However Hughes always comes to fight and Alves is a very exciting contender. Hopefully the card can deliver as a whole, much like 84 did.

Considering all the fighters that had to be taken off this card, I'm pretty happy with Hughes v Alves as a main event. It defiantly could have been a lot worse than this. The fight should be competitive and they are both pretty big names.

Alves/Hughes, Vera/Werdum, and Davis/Swick are all nice very solid bouts, should be a fun card to follow.

Davis/Swick will be my "headliner". I think we're about to see that Marcus Davis is close to the top of the food chain in the WW division and that Swick is over rated. Other than that, I am going to be a huge Alves fan, if only for one night. Beat Hughes!

I'm looking forward to it regardless. Pretty good card with title fight implications all over.
Really interested in seeing how Brandon Vera will rebound. Werdum is such an awkward opponent with serious strength and skill, should be a good one.
I'm also surprised more hasn't been made of the Bisping fight too. Day seems to be the real deal and nobody is really mentioning the fact that he has what it takes to knock off "The Count". If he's got cardio and a decent chin, buh-bye Mike.
And Davis vs. Swick!? Swick has been tentative as of late, but Marcus Davis sure hasn't. I expect this to be a great fight, possible FOTN.
The rest of the card has some B level names on it, but they are intriguing match-ups and there's bound to be a few great fights. I won't mind splitting this one with a few friends. Can't believe it's only a few days away.

Man, I'm really pumped for the Swick vs. Davis fight. I was hoping Davis would get Koscheck or Diego next, but Swick will work too. He's very close to being a title contender.
Marquardt is always fun to watch as well. He's working his way back to Anderson Silva, but I'd love to see a Marquardt vs. Franklin fight first.

At least the event is still happening. Any UFC is better than no UFC.
