Default GSP train with Stephen Wonderboy Thompson

Just found that on quebec mma website.

Stephen Wonderboy Thompson ( 51-0 40ko ) the king of Kickboxing is in Montreal for 3 week to prepare GSP to his next fight against Fitch.

That's nice

GSP is constantly training with the best these days. People say guys like Kos could beat GSP with a couple of years of training but the guy is younger and always seeking out new great training partners. GSP at his peak will be a monster.

A stand-up fighter would do best against GSP, he got rocked by BJ and KO'd by Serra, off the top of my head I can't remember him fighting a guy who is primarily stand-up, I may be wrong though.

the problem with that theory is if the guy is primarily a stand up fighter, how do you expect them to avoid getting taken down by someone with GSP's wrestling, speed and strength?

He was never rocked against BJ nor did he get KO'd against Serra. He got soundly TKO'd by Serra but he was never out. I still agree that a fantastic stand up fighter is probably the best to beat him but they also need the take down defense to stop GSP which isn't looking the easiest these days.

I'm from Belleville but I grabbed the quote from the Toronto Sun awhile ago when all that nipper tippin crap was happening. The quote just seemed like something I never expected to hear someone say so it really stuck with me.

MK3 wasn't calling you a jackass, Nate.

You can't see it, but a spammer posted right after your post. So MK3 was calling the spammer a jackass.

But now that the spammer's post is gone, it looks bad.
