Default Anderson Silva @ 185 and 205 (pic)

I think it's definitely visible in the arms and midsection

Wonder if the extra weight is going to affect his speed. Will he be able to survive in the middel vs a proven 205 power puncher?????

Should be interesting indeed.

He might be a little slower, but it's not as if Irvin is that fast or evasive himself, and there is no way he will be more technical.

^^I agree, Silva weight will not affect him too much at 205 especially with Irvin. but anything can happen.

We will soon see.

Don't see a lot of difference between both picture. But i'm sure he will still be fast.

Im sure there wasnt many people who would have predicted what Irvin did to Houston Alexander either. Anything can happen in an MMA fight so I wouldnt completely discount Irvin just yet. I dont think Irvin will win but I dont think he will be anywhere near the pushover people are predicting. He has been in the 205 lb weight class a lot longer than Silva and is used to fighting at that weight, whereas there might be some visible side effects of going up in weight with Silva....but then again, who knows right?

I think Anderson's actually one of the least scary looking fighters in the UFC, but sometimes that can work in your favour. There's no doubt Irvin is going to be in for a rough night but if 1 punch gets through and lands flush then Silva could be out.

My prediction, Irvin KO round 2

not alot of difference, he looks abit "fuller" ,

Is it just me, or is anderson silva a Skinny 205lbs?? , he's very thin, maybe he just doesnt do alot of weight training??

theres something about this small guy that beats the rest of the bigger guys out there???

Exactly. He doesn't look dehidrated. This is going to be such a great fight and it's right around the corner.

He looks healthier at 205. Anderson Silva without having to cut weight could be the best Anderson Silva we've ever seen. I wouldn't want to be Irvin right now.

I don't see no difference. The lighting is different in the 205 pic. Guys he don't walk into the ring at 185 on fight day. I bet he is near 195 /200 pounds when the bells ring in any 185 pound fight. WarDawg

I can see it in his face and his core. A little more meat in the pecs too, but not a very big difference. Arms look a little less toned, but about the same size. I think with the bulkier core his clinch and knees are something that Irvin may want to avoid.

I dont think it will, the only difference I can see is that he looks a bit more muscualr at 205 than 185. I believe we will see the same ole A.Silva. I know Irvin packs a punch but so does Rich and Hendo so I say this fight will be similar to his other fights. I do hope that it is a decent fight that atleast goes into the 2nd round.....
