TUF II didn't have much drama. I'm starting to think TUF III is going to make up for that.

Hand in hand?
TUF3 is going to be amazing! I still can't believe Dana let Tito back in though after all the bad blood that has been between them Smart business move though. I think ratings will go through the roof.

I told everyone they would bring them back for some good drama. I'm worried a little about their professionalism, but I think they will suck it up and get the job done without killing each other. We might see a Tito/Shamrock fight every episose on TUF3.
Great news.

How was Tito received when he walked into the Octagon? Was Dana in there with him?

Yes, Tito came into a crowded octagon, and briefly Dana White stood between Tito and Shamrock while the security and event staff restrained them. Dana was pretty brave to stand there like that... He could have caught a stray punch or two, LOL

Tito got a mixed reaction from the crowd. They actually showed him in the octagon after a few minutes, and the crowd booed him for the most part. He made a sad looking face and then said "F Off". So obviously, the crowd is a little against him, but he didn't seem to mind. They also showed him a couple more times throughout the night, and he just kept saying "I'm Back."

I think it felt good to see him back... I think that Tito has been trying to say all along that he likes being the Heel in his matches. He is The Huntington Beach Bad Boy for a good reason. I think many athletes thrive in conditions that are (seemingly) dead set against them. There are a lot of forces that are opposed to allowing Tito to succeed, not to mention that he has a huge amount of character to support within himself.
Tito has to worry about losing now more than ever, because Dana White could pull an Ivan Salaverry on Tito Ortiz very quickly. Also, if Tito is going to Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk, then he has to back it up in the octagon. Otherwise, he may end up like Frank Trigg. I want to see Tito Ortiz win some big fights. I want him to prove he belongs once again.
He would be a great champion for people to want to dethrone. It could be a mix that is ready to produce great fights! Also, I am hoping that a return of Tito Ortiz and BJ Penn will signal an increase in the probability that both Frank Trigg and Ivan Salaverry will be allowed to return as well. I think that Trigg and Salaverry could help sweeten the pot even more than last night at UFC56...

I just posted this in another thread, but Ivan is now listed on the UFC website again so I'm wondering if maybe he is officially back in the UFC now. Maybe Tito had something to do with that?

I hope that you are right. Ivan Salaverry is among my favorite fighters. That loss to Marquardt was just a bad night for Salaverry. The fight was not exciting. I think that he learned a lesson from that, and I am betting he would not repeat that performance...
