Bang’s Back; Ludwig Replaces Jackson on UFN 3 against Goulet
By Thomas Gerbasi

One of the premier strikers in the game today, Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig, will look to keep his unbeaten UFC record intact on January 16th when he faces Jonathan Goulet in a welterweight bout on Spike TV’s Ultimate Fight Night 3 card, which will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ludwig replaces Jeremy Jackson, who was forced to withdraw from the show due to a torn pectoral muscle.

A world-class Muay Thai kickboxer who has faced the likes of BJ Penn, Jens Pulver, and Sam Morgan over the course of his five year mixed martial arts career, the 27-year-old Ludwig won his lone UFC fight in April of 2003, outpointing Japan’s Genki Sudo in a memorable showdown at UFC 42.

Which is crazy because if Jason doesn't get medically suspended he is fighting 4 days after at ROTR.

Only reason he got beat was because he faced burkman first. I think he could have beaten eveyone else but Joe.

Well, I've been away for a couple weeks, but I'm definitely ready to see some UFC! It's been far too long without any PPVs, UFNs, or The Ultimate Fighter to watch.

I can't wait to see some of the fights this Monday. I wish they could put more of the fights on TV, but we will always wish for that I guess.

There is something on the UFC website about a big announcement during UFN. But I can't read all of it and the link dosn't work.

I would say that they might be announcing the light weight division coming back, but the way they are hyping it, that almost seems too small of an announcement.
