Baroni and Penn almost mix it up.
Anybody heard this? According to a newsletter put out by wrestlingobserver.com (I don't subscribe but a guy at another forum wrote about it) Phil Baroni was in Pure, a las vegas night club, after the latest UFC event and saw Chris Leben. Baroni was drunk and walked up to Leben and asked if he (Leben) was going to fight him (Baroni). Leben was very calm and recognized that Baroni was juiced so he said something to the effect of "No, you would kill me". At this point mma journalist Lorretta Hunt jumped up and asked Baroni what he just said to Leben. Baroni doesn't like Hunt because she has said some harsh things about him and the use of steroids so Baroni "half heartedly" back handed her and said "report this bitch". Penn, who was sitting with Hunt as this all transpired jumped up and asked why he would hit a girl. "Because I can't stand that bitch" was Baroni's answer and after that he put his drink down and asked Penn if he had a problem. Penn was more willing to oblige than Leben was and they sort of locked up and grappled for a second before security came over and kicked Baroni (and possibly Penn, that part was unclear) out of the hotel. When contacted about it Baroni only said that Loretta Hunt is the journalist in question but would neither confirm or deny that it happened.

chuck always seemed so nice but he kinda rubs me the wrong way now.... seems a little too cocky
I want to see Baroni get smashed after that. But the problem is that he is brawler. I think the UFC should put him against the most brutal ground and pound specialist and tell Big John Mcarthy to turn around for awhile just to teach him some manners.

It always amazes me how many people don't like chuck. I can't say he is my favorite fighter, but still there are all kinds of other fighters how I could see not liking much more.
I wouldn't mind seeing Phil get his face punched in.

Yeah, something dosn't seem right about the story. I for one agree that untill we hear more about this we should let this topic die.
Why didn't they question Penn he supposedly saw it happen. Didn't he?

So did he actually hit her? If he did, I would have him paying out of his ass for that.
All the more reason to keep this jerk out of the ufc. Yeah people like watching him get his butt beat, but the Ufc dosnt need culls like this.
Guys this is just a bogus story. There are several witnesses who say this was all reported incorrectly and Phil did not hit Hunt. That is so stupid that Di Santo pulled that crap. What a moron. Phil may be an ass often but I don't think even he would hit a lady. Especially a freaking reporter. Even he isn't that dumb.
