Leben and Koscheck
Two of the more interesting personalities from season one of TUF. Because of this, people usually have strong opinions one way or the other about each guy. I can't really conceive how someone could genuinely like both guys at the same time. Not only do they hate each other, but they have conflicting personalites and polar opposite fighting styles. I'm just curious where everyone stands on these two guys.
Personally, I'm not really a big fan of either guy. If I had to chose one I would lean towards Leben because his fighting style is more entertaining to me. I'm sure some of you want to see a rematch between these two in the octagon.
Both guys are scheduled to fight at the upcoming Ultimate Fight Night on Spike TV August 6th. Unfortunately for these two, both guys are rumored to be fighting very tough opponents.
Chris Leben vs Patrick Cote
Josh Koscheck vs Pete Spratt
I can easily see both of these guys losing. What are your thoughts? Do you think they will win these fights, have a rematch, fade into oblivion?

I'm not a fan of either of them really. They both seem pretty soft to me. I for one think they will both lose. If I had to choose one to win in a rematch, I would have to say Koscheck would probably win. All he needs to do is keep Leben ont he ground just like before. I'm not sure about how Leben has been training since then, maybe he got a little ground in, but not enough to be as good as Koscheck. I'm going with Koscheck on this one. As for if they will fade into oblivion...I can see these guys sticking around just because of their really big personalities, I think people will want to see them fight again because of that.

I think Leben and Koscheck have a shot at winning. Remember there not sitting around talking about fighting there getting ready for it. I believe Koscheck needs to work on his kicks, knees, and striking in general. But if he does that, he could be a hell of a good fighter. Thats actually hard for me to say, considering I really am not a fan of his. Leben however, has fought alot of big name guys and won. He didn't just start doing MMA on the t.v. show. I would surely not count him out. He has just as much experince as Cote if not more. Just not sure if he's as well rounded. GOOD TOPIC, THANK YOU

I really don't like Leben. As soon as I saw him urinate in that guys bed on TUF I wanted to see him lose ( never thought it would be 2X Thinks he is a real funny guy but as soon as he lost he cried like a baby. I don't care much for Koscheck unless he is fighting Leben then he is one of my favorites
I think I would pay $35 just to see Leben fight Tanner. To see Tanner mount Leben and smash him with elbows until the ref pulled him off would be fun T.V

You may get to see it for free on Spike tv if he fight Patrick Cote. Cote's hands are nice and I can see Leben coming up on the short end of a stand-up war.

Yes. He was on the UFC 50 card scheduled to fight on the prelims, but when Guy Mezger went out with an injury a week before the event, Cote was bumped up to the main event vs Tito.

CHRIS LEBEN IS THEE MAN. I hope to the heavens that he gets a chance to break Josh's jaw like that other poor fella he fought. I think him vs Cote will be very entertaining/brutal and I'm going with Leben by KO. Koscheck, well, I hope he loses August 6th and to Leben more importantly.
Thank you, great thread.

Leben is a punk & I enjoy watching him lose.
Koscheck is a very solid wrestler but it seems like he can't do anything after taking his opponent down. He needs a lot of work on his strikes & submissions.

I think Leben is quite funny but I don't rate either of these guys as fighters I think Lebens technique sucks and Koscheck is just a wrestler who can't take a punch.
I'd like Leben to win but I don't think he will should be a good fight though
Not sure about Spratt but I hope he beat Koscheck I have no interest in seeing him fight

I really didn't like Koscheck, he seemed like a little baby. Even if he is from my area. I hope he gets his teeth kicked out.

Yeah, not a fan of Koschek, I did like Leben though. Leben has I belive two middleweight belts, I forget in what "leagues" though and I beleive he trains with Couture and his crew as well. Like someone else said, they haven't been sitting around, these guys have been training. I think Koschek had alot more to work on then Leben did. Leben also broke a guys jaw with a left hook once. He has big power and potential. I think if he's been training right Leben is gonna kick some but.
Koschek is very strong too so the same goes with him. I think both have great potential. We'll get to see what they've been working on since TUF1.

The punches I saw Leben throw in TUF did'nt look like jaw breakers to me.
I just got the impression he looks uncoordinated and wild with his standup

I think they're both punks! I'll enjoy watching someone stomp a mudhole in them.

Leben cuts easy and...
leben cuts way to easy. I don't see how he is still fighting. Koescheck(spelling) looks way too soft. I hate both of them. Matter of fact. One day I'd like to fight them. right now both of their skills are superior to mine. I'm working on it. Can't stand either one. I'd love to cut both open! then tap'em out befor the ref stops it.

Leban and Koscheck
I am a big fan of chris and think he should of beat koscheck to begin with.I didnt like Koscheck very much during the show because all he could do was wrestle. And because all he could do was wrestle, when chris and josh fought all josh could do was take him down and lay on him.For some reason koscheck came up with the win over Leban because in the judges eyes it looks as if because a guy is constantly on top they are doing more damage but that is not nearly always true.Once josh learns to throw some punches and can fight from his feat he will be a very good fighter but until then I am still with my man Leban!

I hate josh koscheck so much and im dying to see him get mauled again.
I dont really like leben as a person (more than josh though) but he is a good fighter and a real monster for his weight.
I hate bobby the most of all though.
