Default Future Favourites of the UFC

Hey guys, I wrote an article on my site earlier about the UFC and the fighters that will be bringing in the big numbers in the future.

You can see the full article here

Anyway the fighters I picked as being the ones to bring in the big money in the future are:
Anderson Silva, depending on when he retires
GSP, already brings in the big numbers from Canada
Forrest Griffin, if the UFC were to promote him right he could become a well known name like Chuck Liddell currently is.

Also depending on how their fights go and how long they last in the UFC I had Junie Browning, Rashad Evans, Amir Sadollah and Lyoto Machida.

Just wondering who you think will be the fighters of the future? The ones that are bringing the money into the UFC with 750,000+ PPV buys when they fight.

GSP most definitely. I wouldn't say Machida unless he picks up the pace in his fights. One can't help but notice just about every time he fights the fans are constantly booing. Roger Huerta is a guy I see pulling in big numbers. He's already a fan favorite with his explosive style and he is talented. Banha Cane's a guy a see drawing a lot as well...

I'll go out on a limb @ LW and say the following:

Tyson Griffin, Clay Guida, and Nathan Diaz

These three show great fights all the time. These three have shown amazing recovery when in trouble in fights, still coming back and winning. As a fan? That's what I want to see more of and think that trio? If they all three continue to keep getting better? Will be fan favorites 2-3 years down the road.

I like Jeremy Stephens, I think he has a future in the UFC and he's getting better every fight.

Dustin Hazelett. I don't know if he will be a big draw but slick ground game and willingness to take risks make him a very exciting fighter watch so he will probably end up a fan favorite.

Dustin Hazelett for sure - I see him slowly approaching the popularity level that Huerta had/has in his early fights.

I agree with Dustin Hazelett. Also GSP, he's already accomplished so much and he's still only in his 20's, imagine how he will be with another 5-10 years of experience.

I don't know, I think Huerta pi$$ed some folks off with his antics before his last fight... Think his head passed up his popularity there...
