Default No Team Punishment

i was just reading in a magazine about two guys who wanted to get into MMA so they drove to southern California to train with Team Punishment. However they were shocked to learn that there really is'nt a Team Punishment. Team Punishment only exists as a group of guys who get together to train when one of the big fighters in the group has a fight coming up. just an interesting little piece of information. they actually ended up training at the same place Frank Trigg works out but again looked elsewhere when they found out that it was next to impossible to get fights when all the focus is on Trigg and the other notable fighters. in the end they found a small gym to train where they were not overshadowed by established fighters. it just goes to show that when your just starting out it might not be a bad idea to look in other places besides the Team Quests or the Militech Camp.

its true. i read something a while back that Miletich had made a statement telling people to quit moving to Iowa and trying to train with him. i guess its become pretty common. i dont know what people expect though, guys in those camps have titles to defend ans pursue, im sure they would love to help out as many people as they could but its just not possible.

It kind of supirses me that there arnt people at Team Punishment training year round. But otherwise I wouldn't expect teams like Miletich to just focuse on training a new fighter. Besides if you are going to get the best out of your training you want to train with guys on your level.
