From what i seen Mirco is not Just very good in stand-up... he has good Strategy and his hit's are very heavy, besides the fact that he is playing smart he is very tough and he trains well to be prepared for any fight from what i heard.

Who would you say is better? I agree with Roba, this guy is the best all around fighter in the world.

Just off the top of my head I can think of two guys who are definitely better than Cro Cop.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira derailed the Cro Cop train when everyone thought he was unbeatable.

Fedor Emelianenko is without a doubt a better fighter than Cro Cop. He has absolutely decimated every fighter put in front of him. Can Cro Cop beat him? Maybe. That remains to be seen. I have my doubts, but until Fedor is beaten, there really is no argument about who the best fighter in the world is.

You could also make a realistic case that Andrei Arlovski has the tools to beat a guy like Cro Cop.

Cro Cop is good yes, but until he beats a guy like Nog or Fedor, I don't see how he can be considered the best.

Cro Cop is great.... how could you not love watching that guy? Anyways, he probably isn't the best, but i think we all know that at the level of a fighter like Mirko, anything can happen.

Great points but I saw the Nogeira fight and it seemed kind of fluke. I mean the fight was pretty one sided until Nog got him in the mount. then a sport winning and losing is a matter of inches, hopefully we get to see some of these match ups soon.

Also... we all know Cro Cop is a threat standing up... and he can only be getting better on the ground.
