Here's my thoughts on the situation. It was a great ending for a four star pay per view. It was very close. A lot closer than a lot of people (Sherdog) and the commentators were giving credit. I have the DVD and watched the fight a total of 5 times. I looked at it as unbiased as possible.

The second round was definatly given to Vitor because he had a take down and ate Tito up with elbows throught most of the round. The last 45 seconds Tito reversed and ended ok. But that's comparing 4:15 on dominace to 45 seconds.

2nd round to Vitor

3rd round definatly went to Tito because Vitor gased and layed with Tito in his guard. It was almost a 10-8 round but I'd make it 10-9 because Vitor didn't just lay there he did throw punches from the guard.

3rd round to Tito

So basically the fight was decided on a very close first round. I'll break down the first round for you guys.

- 4:47 Tito attacks and gets the clinch against the cage

- 4:38 Vitor reverses and turns it into double underhooks

- 4:27 Tito attempts a take down but is unsuccessful. He's being more agressive though.

- 3:55 Tito holds the clinch still not moving or trying to do much damage other than a few punches to the face.

- 3:52 Vitor counters Titos punches both hold a deep clinch.

- 3:48 Vitor get's out of Titos clinch and bring the fight to the stand

- 3:40 Vitor and Tito trade a punch each when Tito goes for the clinch again.

- 3:38 through 3:22 Tito goes for a takedown and Vitor sprawls. Vitor then throughs his flurries and hit Tito a total of 4 times. Tito then exchanges with a left to the chest causeing them to clinch.

- 2:34 Tito holds the clinch still.

- 2:30 McCarthey breaks them apart because Tito or Vitor didn't atempt anything.

- 2:09 through 1:58 Tito attempt a left cross and Vitor counters with a upercut rocking Tito. Vitor then flurries and knocks Tito down and contines to punch until he gets his head and contols it.

- 1:47 Tito get's his head loose and manages to get Vitor on his back.

- 1:42 Vitor places Tito in the butterfly guard

- 1:31 The commentators mention that Tito is cut.

- 1:24 Tito is in the half guard and and is throwing elbows.

- 0:58 Vitor places Tito in his guard

- 0:45 Tito throws more elbows

- 0:20 Vitor counters most elbows at this point

- 0:00 End of Round 1

I gave it to Tito
but it was pretty ****ing rediculous for him to take a flag and climb through the crowd it was a mildly interesting fight between two declining superstars I had no urge to watch it a 2nd time personally

Vitors performance in PRIDE against Overem only goes to prove that neither he nor Tito can cut the mustard at this level anymore

Its a shame cause vitors been one of my favourites but hes not the same anymore and Tito was never that special
