Rich Franklin vs David Loiseau!
So who are your bets on? I think this will be a challenge for franklin, but i've gone ahead and put all my points towards him. From what i've seen most voted for Rich, so i take it that Loiseau is the underdog in this match?
Yeah he has good elbows and all, but Rich has major knockout power and i just don't see him loseing the title this soon.

There should be lots of action, and it will be interesting to see what happens if The Crow can get mount and rain down those bows. My $, and points, are on Ace, tho. Hes to quick, too powerful. Guaranteed fireworks, this fight and Penn/GSP is worth the $35 themselves.

In my opinion Ace will win this fight but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the title changing hands at UFC 58. The Crow is a legit contender for the title and has a wicked standup game. I'm really looking forward to the Penn/GSP fight but more than that i'm gonna be looking for Ace and the Crow to put on a show for us all!!!

Would Loiseau be able to give Rich his back, like he did to his opponents in at least his last two fightrs and get away with it?

ive put most of my points on rich in this fight just because i dont see him losing this, or any other fight, in the near future.
that being said, if you want a fight to bet on the underdog and make a killing, this would be about as safe a bet as you could get, with the crow's elbows and descent striking, his ground def (that we've seen in his last two fights), and his conditioning...just about anything can happen.

I'm going to put points on Loiseau mainly because he's the underdog and could possibly pull it off. Plus I want him to win.

Nope, this is where it will end for Loiseau this time around. He should have possibly been defeated by McCarthy and Tanner, especially the latter. He has gotten out of the predicament the last two times, but Franklin will finish him by submission.
I think both fighters are well-rounded, but I think Rich is the most well-rounded MW in the UFC. He will be just a little too much for The Crow.
However, as someone mentioned above, Loiseau can end it in a hurry if he gets in the mount or side control. Those elbows should almost be banned they are so deadly.
I dropped 1000 on Rich. He is my favorite, but I have underestimated how good he is the last couple fights. I think he shows why he is the dominant 185 pounder.

I gotta go with Rich. He has proven that he can bang with anyone (Quarry, Tanner) and he can get it done on the ground as well (Shamrock). I think he is just too well rounded for the Crow, but if Rich makes a mistake, call it a night cause the crow will finish.

I see Franklin taking this one, but it will be a challenge because Loiseau is so unpredictable with his elbows and spinning kicks. Then again it could go loiseau's way if he lands them good.

I just saw highlights of both fighters especially the Crow, which I haven't seen to many fights of his. After I have seen both fighters in action, I have to say Rich Franklin will win this fight cause , when he has an opponent in a Muay Thai clinch he throws punches after the knee which I say is a very good combo. In my opinion he has quicker hands also than the Crow.
I am not too excited about this fight but still would be an AWESOME one...I am looking forward for the Penn/GSP fight more than this one.

If i had to compare who has teh better chance in their fight between GSP and the crow.. I have to give it to loiseau.. If rich franklin is counter punchin all night, you know he watched lots of tape and picked up on something..
Hey danny that's kinda harsh, we dont' actually want to see these guys suffer injury.. Franklin is a good fighter, why do you want him to suffer "facial damage"?? You should respect what these guys do.

I think Danny was referring to getting pounded by David's elbows which do in fact cause much damage no matter how great you are.
