Does Karo Parisyan get any credit
due to injury he did not get a title shot, and matt beat riggs.then gsp and bj fight now gsp gets the next shot for the belt.i know gsp beat karo but he lost to matt so in my opinion if karo is well to fight and gets a tune up he should get a crack or after the winner of the matt gsp fight does he get a shot before any one else.

Nothing wrong with that analysis IMO. GSP vs Parisyan sound like a good test for GSP's first title defence...................if GSP can beat Matt that is.

Karo is fighting a tune up match at UFC 59. I think it's actually a good choice for "The Heat". He'll be getting a championship shot within a year from now.

He should fight Penn, and the winner should fight for the title.

I dont mean to offend any Karo fans when i say this....
When Karo got his shot, i thought that should've been GSP's fight before Karo and when Karo pulled out, i thought the shot should've gone to GSP instead of Riggs. Riggs had only had one ww match and it was against an average opponent. GSP had beat a no name and he also beat what was at one point the third top ww in the UFC
I think Riggs shouldve faced Sherk instead to beat a big name. But with all respect to Karo, GSP has worked harder then Karo to get his shot. GSP has beat his last 4 fighters and its not like no names, hes beat the top ww fighters besides Hughs at the moment. He beat Trigg when he was the biggest ww name in the UFC, then they bring back the famous Sean Sherk, and GSP didn't only beat him, he outclassed Sherk in his famous element, and now he has beat Penn who originaly beat Hughs. So GSP has a resume of fighters thats hes beat recently and it is beter then Karo.
I liked the fight that i saw against Serra. I would like to see Serra move back down to the LW divisoin to compete there. Karo will get his shot, but anyone has to agree that GSP deserves the shot more then Karo, sorry to all Karo fans.

I know, that was before, I am talking future, when/if GSP has the belt. Still worth watching again though.

i dont even think so to be honest... which is why i dont want karo to get a shot, because he cant beat BJ GSP or hughes... his best hope is to lose by decision... he is a great 2nd tier fighter and will never be a champ IMO

Yes, I agree he is very exciting to watch. This next year with him back in the mix should be interesting.

Ya i agree with that but the UFC can't keep having the same contenders over and over again. The best part about title shots is it is always someone new challenging for the title. Even if Karo can't beat BJ or GSP, that doesn't mean he shouldn't get a title shot. He's had a good record lately so he will get his shot, i still think it should be after GSP however.
