how cool would it be if josh came back to the ufc.i think he would be a top contender and even become the champion. do any body know why he left if so reply.the reason i asked is i was looking at some of my old ufc dvd's

I do think he's a good fighter and do like to watch him fight. I couldn't see him being champion anytime soon. Paul Buentello beat him and you saw what short work Arlovski made of him!!

I'm sure he's improved but not enough in my opinion.

Oh and I think he went over to Pride (more money?)

He violated NSAC regulations on banned substances, I think that had alot to do with it, plus he also does puroresu (pro wrestling) in New Japan Pro Wrestling so he is making much more money in japan, and not just from Pride.

I think Arlovski would kill him... I don't believe there is any way Josh could beat AA IN standup battle, and I don't think he could take him down.

Buentello has never fought Barnett. Josh's only losses are to Rizzo in his prime and "Cro Cop".

thank you cause josh would submitt paul and the pitbull.on the other hand pedro beat josh and the pitbull but hey i think josh would be a top contender if he came back to the ufc

Pedro beat a young Arlovski, if they had a rematch I don't think Pedro would get out of the first round.

Rizzo was also priming out at the time. I don't think Barnett could hang with Arlovski, because Andrei is no slouch on the ground, but he could beat him by size and having the edge on the ground. But I think Pride is the place for Josh and I also think he'll win the Absolute GP, or at least get to the finals, if Noguiera and "Cro Cop" get paired up in the first or second round.

Sorry, I was getting confused with Buentello fighting Justin eilers,not josh barnett.
