UFC and Spike tv extend their deal...
well it looks like we are going to be getting a lot more Ultimate Fighter, UFC Unleashed, and more UFC live fights all on spike. The ufc and spike extended their deal for another two years and it includes a lot of stuff. the link is below for you guys to read the rest of this. when i read it, i got excited just knowing how much more is to come our way.....

Saw the article earlier that is awesome news. I hope that eventually maybe Fox or ESPN will pick up the UFC and allow it to be more mainstream, but this is still very good news, plus we are to have at least 5 more TUF!!!!

This agreement pretty much guarantees you will not see the UFC on any cable channel other than SpikeTV as its an exclusive rights agreement. If anything, with the gaining popularity of MMA, it will open up chances for other groups to make deals with ESPN or FoxSports, like the IFL.
I still like the deal as its more exposure for MMA. It also explains why we are seeing repeats of Unleashed, since they are a limited episode agreement. Only 16 episodes were produced for this past year.

Could you imagine Pride, the UFC, and the IFC all on regular cable?! God bless America!! Having to decide which one to watch because they are on at the same time would be the worlds most wonderful dile mma. DVR sales would skyrocket.
