Default Evan Tanner and Dave Terrell

i havent heard any talk about these 2 guys... both are fighting at ufc 59 i believe and both are major middleweights... not long ago they fought each other for the title! dave terrell has been gone forever and is one of my favorite figthers, and easily has the potential to beat ANYONE in the division... and evan tanner also one of my favs has done it all except beaten rich... both guys can beat anyone and i hope both win, maybe with one fighting hte crow and the other fighting leben... those are the 4 guys that need to make a push towards rich IMO

I want Tanner to win this badly. I like Tanner, and he has had a bad run of it lately. I would like to see him come back and win some big fights and then threaten Franklin's title again.

Tanner SPANKED Terrel at UFC 51 to win the interim belt. He has two tough losses to Franklin and Loiseau. I dont know much about either of thier upcoming opponents, but I would like to see Tanner make his way back up the ranks.

tanner won very decisively, but did almost tap out before that... dave terrell at his age, is my #1 pick for the future at 185.... he can KO anyone and then is the best on the ground above anyone.. i like them both, and i like rich... thats becoming a problem with me liking TOO many of the fighers... then at WW im a huge hughes and GSP fan! what to do what to do...

That was the actual UFC Middleweight Championship. It wasn't an interim title. The Championship was vacated after Buastamante jumped ship to Pride.

I would love to see another fight with Dave and Evan going at it again. I think it was just too much too soon for Dave because he has the tools to beat anyone in the MW division. Just those nagging injuries that have been keeping him out of the game for so long. I hope it doesn't prevent him from reaching his true potential in his career.

He also had a couple of quick wins in a row, and as Rogan said at the time, the danger is that you start to believe you're that guy -- that you're going to plow through everyone. Then he ran into one of the toughest, no-quit SOBs the UFCs ever had, and Tanner taught him a big nasty lesson.

tanner leben would be great... throw in tanner vs the crow rematch ( i think evan could have beat him, but those elbows were so devastating) then have the winners of those 2 fight each other then the 2 losers... marquardt doesnt impress me much, i think all 4 of these guys are better, just IMO... however i think only leben and terrell have hte chance to beat rich after seeing him dismantle the crow and tanner

You think Chris Leben has a shot at beating Rich Franklin? Remind me to bet you every dime I have if that contract ever gets signed.

no.. i dont think he can, but i KNOW the crow and tanner cant... i think that in the long term dave terrell has the best shot and if he keeps improving and is free from injury i would say yes he will beat rich.. leben if he keeps improving also has the next best chance... doesnt mean rich wouldnt beat all 4 of the guys i named before, but the crow is a long long way from being champ... he gives up his back all the time, couldnt beat any one in a decision, and relies on cutting a guy to win (which works sometimes like against tanner) but a champ has to win in every way, like rich vs jorge rivera.... i see some of that in leben so far and definently dave terrell
