Default Will the recent questionable decisions effect fighters performance?

Do you think the recent questionable decisions will make the fighters in the up-coming UFC events more aggressive to finish off an opponent??

All the fighters know that it's a bad move to leave the outcome of a fight up to the judges. If they don't they will never be contenders, you don't see a lot of Champs who can't finish.

true that, they should know if they want to win -- the best way is to stop the guy.. not let the judges use their brains.

While all that is true about not letting it go to the judges sometimes it's very difficult to keep it from going to the judges; especially when you're very evenly matched. What they need to do is get these judges the proper training or education of MMA or get judges who know what the heck is going on. They've completely dropped the ball in 3 fights in the last two weeks. Evans, Bonnar and Tito lost their fights not won them. Especially Bonnar! That fight was so lop-sided it should've been a "no-brainer," but yet somehow Bonnar wins.

i agree that the judges need some schooling in the fine arts of MMA. however maybe they are trying to send a message. if it goes to the judges you will be screwed so don't let it get to the judges. i do think they dropped the ball on all 3 of those fights and of course the bonnar fight was an absolute joke. i think it is about time they put bonnar up against some real talent! and then just weed him out once and for all

Judges have agendas.

Commentators do too.

It's all corrupt. The UFC has its favourites, and if they're involved in a close decision, then the poster boy will win, and the commentators will use the old "that's what happens when you leave it in the hands of the judges" as a way of disguising/excusing the absoulte robbery which has just taken place.

when two fighters are evenly matched its often the one who takes the most risks who wins. of course taking risks also means you could make a mistake and lose. in the UFC losing means you might not get to fight another day. i personally hate decisions but you can't just let two guys keep fighting until one finally quits after 10 rounds. not to make this a cross promotion thread but Pride has really fine tuned thier judging based on several categories and not just a 10 point must system. while there is still room for error i think the UFC would be wise in taking a look at it. of course it may not be up to the UFC since the athletic commisions have alot of say in who is a judge.
