Default Diaz

Nick Diaz BJJ, awsome, Nick Diaz gound and pound, not so awsome. Yeah Nick KO'd Robby Lawler, that was unexpected but whatever, take it as a win and now lets move on. But no now he wants to KO everyone. Thoes of you that saw his last match must have seen how he got into many submission positions, but let them go, because he wants to strike. Dude your not a striker. Not only that but you come from a Gracie school. let's think for a second, who dominates in submissions? GRACIE, yeah so why try and strike, lucky shots dont exactly make you Mike Tyson. and then you go on sherdog and say you dont know why you keep loosing. dude look at the tape. stick to what your good at.

He can strike. But, just because you can does not mean that you should. A fighter needs a new plan for each fight. I mean, stick with the tools that you have, but also be smart. Riggs was not going to be KO'd by Diaz. That was clear early on in that fight. But, Diaz had a good chance of KO'ing Sanchez. That was a good plan. But, Diego's plan was better -- takedown and go for the GnP. The judges see that Diaz's plan is weak, and he has paid for that. I said it before, the judges do not like Diaz.

I think Diaz needs to get away from the Gracie school and go over to one that can help him... Jackson Submission Fighting might help him. Maybe Team Quest or the Lion's Den, LOL. Anything would be better than Gracie at this point in Diaz's career. He already has great BJJ. He needs more...

I think a change to any of the top camps would help him. TQ, AKA, this Chute-Boxe camp in California... I guess he's made enough enemies at Miletich that he wouldn't be welcome there, but they could probably do a lot for him.

I really like Nick Diaz, and I think his attitude makes for really entertaining fights (was it Mazagatti that had to tell him to stop talking in the Lawler fight?). I want to see him get his game together and string up some wins.

I agree. And, I would like to see Diaz return to winning fights (at least three in a row) before they rematch him with Sanchez.

I understand why Diaz can't understand why he loses sometimes. For example, Diaz vs. Sherk. Every take down Sean got was instantly reversed. But yet the judges score the take down even if it was invited by Diaz. No, score for the sweep??? That is something I just can't figure out. An as far as Diaz letting a Sub go, No way he just saw something better to make a move for. He wasn't letting it go so he could K.O. him.
