Default Joe Rogan.

I know Joe Rogan is just a fight announcer, but did he actually ever participate in any MMA/UFC fighting?

He's a brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu and in Open Taekwondo sparring he was a Grand Champion back before his News Radio days.

Rogan was on News Radio? I've only seen that show a few times and it's been quite a while. Wow.

I've seen a clip from Fear Factor where there were a bunch of contestants from other reality shows competing. The girl from "The Real World" walked over and punched that Johhny Fairplay geek from Survivor in the stomach. Rogan gave her s**t and told her it wasn't cool to just hit people. He said something about how maybe she and her boyfriend hit each other, but -- and that's when the boyfriend (also competing on the show) stepped in and pushed Rogan. He grabbed Joe by the shirt and Joe just stood his ground and held the guy's head down a bit (prime for a kneestrike, but it didn't happen) and guys from the crew pulled them apart. You could tell Rogan felt comfortable and in control, but he didn't want it to turn into an actual fight, so he stayed cool until someone else stepped in.

Was it Tait? I don't know -- I haven't seen the clip in a while.

Thanks, Ray. My memory of the incident was a bit off here and there, like how it was a contestant who pulled them apart, not a crewmember.

Lol, thats great! First time I've seen that. Joe had a good muay thai clinch and should have put his knee in dudes mouth and sent him in the water! Joe was smiling at him and was confident. One of my biggest allies in a lot of my fights have been underestimation.

That combined with the clip of him taking down that dude from myspace make me a Joe Rogan fan.

Does anyone remember what that video was labeled under?

Favors? Maybe. I doubt Rogan has that kind of pull.

A few MMA fighters have appeared on Fear Factor. Kit Cope was on a rerun episode the other day... That was before his UFC debut. I doubt that had anything to do with him getting into the UFC.

I am thinking that Tait's 3-1 MMA record was the reason that he got into TUF3. He is 2-0 in KOTC. A lot of fighters on TUF have come from KOTC.

And after having some guys on the show in the past with zero personality that the viewers didn't care about, I think they look for fighters who are a little more charismatic. Like Tait or hate him, he's at least helping to keep things interesting in the house and I'm really curious to see him fight (my prediction: he can't hang with most of his competition, but we'll see).

Yeah, I agree. Some of TUF fighters are b.o.r.i.n.g. I like the mix of characters this season.
