Default If you can pick one fighter to fight in the UFC who would it be?

No contracts, no money issues pure fantasy!!

Ultimate question, im torn between about 6 fighters.
im thinking i would like to baulk up the heavey weight divison so Sapp, CRo Cop and Mino.
But then i havnt seen Rampage fight but iv heard the hype so Liddell vs Rampage sounds good also for LHW.

Royce Gracie coming back saves me some picks.

However the one i would really like to see in the Octogon is Remy Bonjansky, that guy is a beast, knees + kicks, excellent K1 fighter not sure of ground game but should be good.

On another note having sean gannon in the UFC is a laugh, the guy fights and trains MMA and he kicked Kimbo Slices ass but it shows the gulf between a street fighter and MMA master, bring in Kimbo and let him get embarrassed to.

In the other thread about giants I wrote off all of them as not providing real competition, but Sapp is one exception. He is dangerous. Did you see his fight with big Nog? Nog barely pulled it out after getting dropped on his head and so forth for a while. Pulling out that arm bar was amazing. Plus Sapp takes it to those k1 champs.

In answer to your question, if I could bring one guy in to the UFC, I think it'd be Dan Henderson. I really want to see him and Rich Franklin square off. Otherwise, the UFC lightweight division is shaping up nicely, and the guy who would really make it cook would be

i think dan henderson or silva. I mean Fedor could come in, but we all know the outcome on those fights. Hendo and Silva would provide the best match ups, and they could have mutiple entertaining bouts, plus it would answer alot of what if questions.

Default Jim Rome

No doubt about it. I'd love to see Jim Rome call Chuck Liddell "Chris Everett" and then get in the octagon with him.

The UFC needs heavies...that said...bring the top three...Fedor, Nog, and Cro Cop...since there's no money involved in this thread. The UFC will be a long ways from having the change for those guys.

I'm gonna have to say Evan Tanner, with the agreement that the winner buys the loser two 12 packs.
I'm thinkin ahead guys...
It'd be different to fight BJ though and get my ass kicked by a dude 40lbs lighter than me. I'll go with tanner though.

I doubt we will see Frank S. in the UFC. He had some really nice things to say about Dana and the UFC awhile back.

Either Hollywood or Fedor but leaning more towards Henderson, just to see who is the king of the middleweights.

Im also a big Bonjansky fan! Would be excellent to see how he'd do in MMA!

My choice would be Vitor Ribeiro to add to the LW division (are they still doing this weight class?). Id also like to see Kharitonov in the UFC as I think he'd easily be at the top of the HW food chain.

nah mulla they dont have a classified LW divison yet, but i think BJ Penn is going to be fighting Eves Edwards at LW in UFC 61. i like the LW division some class fighters, maybe they should have a midget division... nice!
yeah Remy is ace man i liked his high kick against Tiger White. On the K1 subject and dutch fighters there are currently a few kickboxers from Holland making it big in MMA, Manhof in cage rage had the greatest fight iv ever seen in MMA with cyclops. Also Overeem is doin well in WCFC.

on the subject of HW, the UFC should look to bring some guys from Japan over, there are so many HW contenders. Think Bojansky would slot into LHW division nicley.

Here are some other fighters who I'd like to see (since we're talkin' about fantasy):

Cung Le
Bill Goldberg
Michael McDonald
Ernesto Hoost
