Easy win for Sanchez?
The other three fights being aired look like they could be interesting, but is the Sanchez fight going to be just another boring Deigo dominating GNP?

Probably. Aside from Nick Diaz, they seem to be spoon-feeding Diego easy opponents. I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight Dave Strasser or something next.

I agree with hughespowerslam, Diego is getting babied. I'd be unbeaten in MMA fighting a bunch of chumps too.

I don't know much about Alessio but I think that is UFC's intention is to keep giving him fighters they are confident he will beat. I will be rooting for Alessio though thats for sure.

They're not really feeding him cans, more like good fighters, but not great fighters. It's like if Pride made Fedor fight Heath Herring, Gary Goodridge, etc.
Er... and that's all they made him fight.

Who are they building him up for, Penn or the winner of the Hughes/GSP fight?
I would like to see him fight Penn myself.

Penn is rumored to be fighting Karo.
Plus, Penn would kill Sanchez.

I doubt it. I think it would a very good fight and close. If it isn't close, I would tend to think it would be in Sanchez's favour.

Against Alessio right? BJ would emberass Diego which is why UFC won't match them up. At least not yet.

Dude, if you think Diego "the Killer Backstreet Boy" Sanchez is slightly favored or even with BJ Penn... well, I don't know. I'm not a Dr so I can't diagnose but that's some wild stuff.
Karo would kill Diego, I don't even know what you would call what BJ would do. I would however like to see BJ fight Karo.

No doubt man. I'm pretty confident that Diego would get his ass handed to him on a silver platter with a side of dijon mustard. If he fought BJ Penn. Diego's a good wrestler, but his strikes need lots of work. BJ's awesome at BJJ and has a great stand-up game too. Plus, multitudes more mma experience. I think Diego fighting BJ would be like my seven year old daughter fighting me. It'd be lop-sided to say the least.

She'd thump Diego, and expose the myth of the Nightmare. Seriously, though, the UFC needs to put Diego against one of the top welters. I don't think he's good enough, but how will we ever know when the UFC keeps spoon feeding him?

why not put BJ against diego? because diego would be a huge underdog?? but they would put quarry in against rich in a 5 round title fight??? that logic doesnt make sense.

And where did Quarry go after that fight? Besides to the hospital of course. You don't think they learned their lesson with Quarry? He disappeared and viewed as a joke by a lot of people now. They are going to milk Diego's popularity for all it's worth before throwing him to the wolves.

Good point.
They feel as if they need to coddle this "Nightmare"...and he doesn't seem to mind.
Diaz is the only competitor that frustrated Diego. Diego won but for some reason, now they wanna lessen the matchups.
If Diego doesn't come down with some mystery virus, he'll extend his unbeaten weak streak against Alessio.

I thought there were rumors of Trigg and "Dirty" calling each other out. That would be a pretty good wrestling match.

I can't think of quarry as a joke. He's a good striker who got clocked by the best. As for Diego, I like him and think of him as the better of the b+ fighters, but he is not ready for Penn and the A+ fighters. I think of the great Pierre and Hughes fight and how, as of now, Diego would have to be shop-vacked off the matt after a Matt Hughes beating. Another 5 fights--if he works on stand up IMO, and I think he could be ready. No matter how you feel about Diego, at least he isn't Koscheck and his Ground and . . . his Ground and Ground game.

I would love to see that, Trigg is looked down on for some reason for loosing to two of the top WWs in the buisness. But the man would simply dismantle Diego.
