I was trying to convert a friend to MMA from boxing. He was telling me how brutal the sport is. I listed reasons why he is full of the dark matter:
1.) Lighter gloves allow sooner knockouts versus the 12oz gloves allowing your head to rattle around in its cage for 10-12 rounds.
2.) Application of submissions as an alternative to punching someone in the head into unconsciousness.

Any ideas?
