I wish that I could have been there personally to see these things for myself. I hate working with second-hand information. But, my pal is dependable and not a liar (that I ever knew of). I have known him for like 21 years.

I think your friend is on track there. Mike Sloan had an article that said some reports listed something around 8K tickets were sold. Almost 2K less than showed up (paid tickets) for the Nate Quarry slaughtering. It was not even close to being a packed house. That would mean they had to give away at least over 10K tickets.
