Forrest Griffen vs Micheal Bisping
what about that for a matchup, the two winners of TUF LHW ( i might be getting ahead of myself), versus each other, both of them can throw and like a good fight. i can see that being a great fight if it ever happens.

I think that would be a good matchup. I'd like to think Forrest would come out on top, but Bisping has impressed me.

Well i think Bisping would have a great shot. He is probably the best Tuf winner that they have ever had. But i think Bisping might win because he might be more well rounded but idk how god forrest is on the ground?

I feel that Bisping has room to improve his game a lot with some time and a good trainer. He should get a couple of tune-up fights before he fights someone like Griffin.
Bonnar lost to Griffin in a controversial decision. Then Jardine lost to Bonnar in a controversial decision. Now I'd like to see Griffin lose to Jardine in a controversial decision to complete the set. Maybe Bisping could get into it and sort out who the real contender shoud be.

It was surprising but awesome to hear that Bisping trained with GSP leading up to the fight.

I think Bisping needs to make the move to America and start training with one of the big gyms. Now I don't know about where he trains, hopefully someone could shed light on that, but if he were to go to America and train with Punishment, or MFS I think it would elevate his game even more.

He said he trains with "WolfDen MMA Academy" around where he lives (during the fighter segments).
It too was awesome to hear he trains with GSP, and training with anyone of that calibur always helps. I wonder if he will make the jump to America to train, that is an interesting question. Will he move his family over or just do the familiar route back home in England? Of the fight's he has had, he has shown great skill and been dominating and very impressive so its not like they don't know what they are doing at the Wolf's Den.
If he was training with GSP earlier, maybe he'll go back and continue to train with him That would mean he'd be here in Canada, whoo!

I was thinking about this match up as well last night. I really think that Bisping could beat any LHW fighter from any TUF season. I think his stand up is definitely much crisper that Forrest, on the ground it could be a toss up because Forrest does have a great ground game as well.

Bisbing is great for a TUF contestant, no one could touch him, but Forrest has taken those steps to becoming a true contender.

Bisping is a GREAT fighter. Hands down Bisping is a GREAT fighter. But, he is not experienced enough to beat Forrest. Forrest gained the respect of Tito Oritz and in my (controversial) oppinion, beat Tito. Lets break this down. You guys are telling me that at this moment, yall think that Bisping can beat Tito this early in his career? The fight with Griffin and Bisping would be a great fight until Forrest will pull out something that will put Bisping down. Give Bisping 2 to 3 years and he will be a severly great competitor; then Griffen/Bisping will be a good matchup. Until then, i would easily put money and my car on Griffen.

I said this in another thread, but what makes you guys think that Griffin is better than Bonnar, Jardine and Evans?
Just for the record, I wouldn't bet my car on Griffin vs Bisping. He's in that league already.

just watched the fight guys (it was shown tonight) Bisping is the daddy, i said from the very start that he would win it, i really think in all honesty that he will do real damage in the UFC, it love to see him vs forrest. By the way he fights out of one of the best gyms in the UK Wolfs Lair

Bisping is the future of this business and so is forrest I don't think they will match them up just yet, they're gonna want to build them a little more before they face each other. But when the time comes, you are sure to see an evenly matchup and a heck of a fight.

yeah that will be a showcase fight, with all the average fighters coming out of the TUF series Forrest and Bisping in my opinion are the two class acts

Well the question really is (not to take anything from Forrest because I'm a big fan of his and he's tough as nails) could Bisping bring a under-conditioned and injured Tito to a close decision, and I think he could. If it was a %100 Tito every round would've been like the first.

I think Bisping is a little more well rounded than Forrest Griffin, but Forrest has had a lot more fights in the octagon (UFC one that is). He has improved a lot since winning TUF1.
The only thing I'm worried about as far as Bisping is concerned is him getting KOed. He seems to get caught every once in awhile with a good shot. It happened against Ross on the show and once or twice against Josh last night. If Forrest landed a shot or two, it may be the end for Bisping.
If Bisping kept his hands in great position, however, he could definitely hang with Forrest...if not defeat him.
The future is very bright in the LHW division. Both Bisping and Griffin should be around for years to come. And if Bonnar shows up to fight, he is very impressive as well. It just depends on which Bonnar we get.

What are you talking about? When did he not show up? Bonnar is 9-2. His loss to Griffin could have gone either way. He beat Jardine in a close decision, but that's nothing to be ashamed about. Jardine is a very impressive striker and a black belt in BJJ. Bonnar and Jardine are clearly as much contenders as Griffin is.
