Pretty standup guy if he's allowing someone to take a photo of him with their fists like that, unless of course it was photoshopped in or something.
I watched the fight early last week and I must say, Ken took a real beating. Everything Tito threw, he pretty much landed. With that said though, I came out of watching that fight having even more respect for Shamrock, for the fact the guy took such a beating, yet was still trying to fight. I can't see how his heart can ever be questioned after that. I wonder if Tito got him in a submission that fight if he'd have even tapped. He might have passed out or let his arm get broken. If he brings that type of determination and no quit to this fight with a better showing, who knows? I'm hoping.
Prediction:
Heart: Shamrock 3rd round submission
Head- Ortiz 2nd round TKO

I wish people would stop counting Ken out right before it starts. Don't get me wrong, I'm calling Tito on this one. But, Ken isn't injured this time. I don't see Tito steam rolling through Ken, I have too much respect for Ken.

It's going to be ugly. I'll be surprised if Tito even gets hurt. Ken's one shot is that Tito may get cleared to fight, but his knee still won't be 100%. Forrest Griffin says when he realized Tito blew his knee out, he decided it wouldn't be sporting to target it. Ken won't make the same mistake.

If Griffin said that, then he is an "dumb***" (to quote Red Foreman). Anyway, we would drop a brick in our shorts, if Ken Shamrock beat Tito Ortiz by submission with a leg-lock or heel-hook or whatever. Ortiz hates those leg submissions. He even coached his team on TUF3 to never go for them. It would be sweet revenge.

Ken got picked apart. I feel this is last chance for Ken to prove he is good enough to still be fighting in the UFC. He is the last of the old school UFC and even though he has shown he has evolved as a fighter it's not been enough to be at the top.

Oh, even Forrest acknowledges that. When he said the thing about not going after Tito's bad leg, he said something about being an idiot for thinking that way. It wasn't an excuse for losing, it was more along the lines of "Listen to what a dummy I am."

I agree with that. I think that this is the last hoorah for Ken Shamrock. If he wants to go out a great fighter, then he needs to beat Tito Ortiz. If I were Shamrock, and I beat Tito, then I would retire immediately after that fight. It would make Ortiz really mad, and it would mean they went 1-1 and no rubber match to break the tie. Go out on top! That is what Shamrock wants. But, we don't always get what we want, just what we need. Shamrock may need a beat down to tell him he needs to retire.

Ah, I see now. That is cool. Griffin is still learning. I doubt he will repeat very many mistakes...

Yeah but Shamrocks career has always been pushed to be the top at the beginning he was meant to be the champ and top man but he made a career of just falling short of the mark. It's true either way I would like to look at this as the last time we see Ken. I hope he gets the win to make up for the last few years of bad performances but Tito will be confident and it takes a good connection to scare Tito and ruin his fight game. Then again Ken is a stubborn man and who knows what is in his mind. If Randy retired at the level he was at then surely Ken should be thankful he got this rematch against Tito fight like he has never fought before and bow out in glory while he is still loved and respected.

I think we agree about that, UFC_Legacy.
If I were Shamrock, I would target Ortiz's knees. Leg kick Tito until he cannot walk, then shoot under his punches to put pressure on the legs. Then, I would try to get that leg-lock or knee-bar on Tito to really crank that pain up and make Tito quit. Ken knows that Tito's knees are still healing from surgery. He my be 100%, but it takes a long time to recover from surgery. He may still have issues in those knees.

he used Weak Lo's style from Kung Pow... 'my face to your fist' style. that'll get chicks.
at least he didn't use 'my nuts to your foot' style though, that's the brightside.
