It seems that the MMA one hell of a showcase for some of the best and the worst ideas for tattoos. I have to give Riggs some props for going with the whole black and green colour scheme which at least shows that he gave his body art some thought. Seems a bit self involved though as all of his tattoos that come to mind are some variation of his own name. I'm also curious as to whether Monson knows that he has an anarchist nautical star on his chest. It would be pretty cool though if Monson was actually an anarchist.

I THINK it's Drew Fickett that has that weird face on his ribs. I remember liking some of his others, not that i can remember them at the moment, but that one looks really stupid in my opinion.


EDIT:I think it might actually be James Irvin. I remember the evil eyes on the same guy.

Not sure what it is with tatoo's now-a-days, but they have really come to the forefront in coolness and fashion. I don't have any and never really even considered getting one. Guess I'm not cool or in fashion. Seems to me like MMA has the highest percentage of athletes that have tatoo's as far as sports are concerned. In fact, it looks odd to see a fighter in the ring without a tatoo. And with Miami Ink on the discovery channel it's seems to be getting the whole country tatoo crazy.

None really stand out to me but I kinda think that the evil eyes that James Irvin has on his abs look pretty cool.

Tim Sylvia has some badass tribals and Babalu's full arm tat is even more badasser. As for stupid tats I shouldn't comment cuz I've got a tire track around my bicep and a scorpion on my my hand, but Travis Wiuf's suck.

I can't stand Riggs' tatts, at all. I think they look really sloppy and unprofessional. That is all that really stands out in my head regarding tatts..... I guess I would have to vote Kimo for the best, simply based on how much more he stood out back in the earlier UFC on account of them. That guy who was covered in them on TUF this last season had nice work, as well.
