Tim, settle down man. Don't get too ahead of yourself.

I would go with Fedor in the first round by either submission or TKO. Tim Sylvia would have a tough time with a lot of the fighters already eliminated in the open weight grand prix, much less Big Nog, Cro Cop, Josh Barnett, etc.

Tim's funny - the head's pretty big now and righfully so. He's gone from a goofy fat face chubby guy to defending heavyweight champion.

But I'm thinking it wouldn't take all that long for Fedor to make him his prag (it's an "Oz" prison term).

i havent seen too many of fedors fights except the one with crocop... and let me tell you, sylvia would be outclassed in every facet of the game... fedor 2nd rd ko n i say 2nd rd b/c i think the 1rst will be boring, just each fighter feeling the other one out...

Man just after I start respecting the dude he goes and runs his mouth too much again. Timothy a lot of people would respect you more if you would keep your mouth shut and just do what you do best. Here's a hint...it's not public speaking.

I don't know about anything being boring. Fedor would come at him with a full force attack. He would overwhelm Tim from start to finish. I don't even think there would be much of a fight.

I never have watched Pride or anything MMA other than the UFC. Can somebody give me a link to Pride website or something? Maybe somebody can explain his fighting style, size or sumthin like that? I just need some info on this guy.

Fedor has fought and demolished people a lot bigger and more skilled than he. that comment about someone thata big and a competent striker brings to mind one Semmy Schilt who is taller and a much better striker than tim. im done.

Tim's downfall is going to be his own arrogance/ignorance. He slops out a decision over AA and he thinks he's all that. I do think he's probably the best heavy right now in the UFC, but I also think there's about four or five better than him in Pride. I've gained respect for Tim as a fighter, in the last two or three months, but his whole arrogant, boastful persona is what really puts me off about him. I mean, c'mon, the guy sleeps with the belt right under his bed. To run your mouth like that, in regards to Fedor, is just stupidity. I'd love to see it happen. Maybe Fedor would cause his jaw to be wired shut.

You know what? I just had a change of heart about this. I've decided that Tim Sylvia deserves my respect for going on public record that he WANTS to fight Fedor. Right on, Tim. You're not gonna catch me calling him out!

So I'm not gonna say anyone's an idiot or insane. I say let Sylvia get what he wants. If Dana and Pride are open to sharing some fighters (especially top guys like Liddell and Wanderlei), then hopefully they can make Sylvia & Fedor a reality. What the heck -- I'll pay to see it.

And where will my points go? Let's compare their pro records...

You don't have to think he's an idiot to think he'd get his butt whooped. Sure calling out Fedor is something to admire. But calling him a "tiny little ****" is uncalled for. Not cool and just another reason I can't stand Tim. Like I have said before I wouldn't have a problem with Tim if he'd keep his mouth shut. He's always whining about how he wants everyone to respect him but he doesn't give respect to anyone.
