What next for AA?
Where does he go from here? Maybe a fight with Mir? Do you think he will entertain the thought of fighting outside UFC for a while? Also, I've heard many people say that after a 3rd fight, the feud is pretty much over. I don't see AA seeing it that way though. What do you guys think?

AA had his 2 chances to get the title back and he lost both times. i think that feud is pretty much over unless AA can fight his way back to the #1 contender spot. i do feel that AA is a good fighter but that he is not the unstoppable machine that the UFC promotional department made him out to be. saying that i still think he could have a great career, look at Tim Sylvia. He had 2 back to back losses and came back to win the title back, just like he said he would. i have respect for a man who makes a claim and then can back it up. maybe AA can do the samething, maybe he can't. we'll have to wait and see. right now AA is damaged goods and really needs a good solid win.

I am not sure that Frank Mir is ready to fight someone like Arlovski yet. I also think that 262 pounds(119 kg) are too much for him. He is far better at 240.
Arlovski - Vera is a match I would like to see but i doubt it will happen any time soon.

AA vs. Vera would be a war, assuming AA comes ready to fight and confident. however i think Vera has surpassed Arlovski in the rankings, as has Buentello who seems to be forgotten for the time being. basically there are alot of guys waiting for a title shot. maybe AA could fight Cruz, the BJJ specialist.

I went camping and missed the fights. Been doing some reading tho. What happened with Arlovski, did he show too much respect? I had a feeling, since the flash-knockout, that Silvia might be in his head, with that reach and all. Did he just not commit?

Affraid of a big right
I think he might still have had images of the last fight in his head. Maybe he was afraid to come in and get close. It seems like thats how The Maniac caught him the last time before he jumped on his back. I thought for sure he would try and take him down in the Th round since it was so close and going toe to toe really hadn't got him anywhere. I was very surprised with how the fight went, not really disappointed just surprised.

AA will be back. Personally i still think he's the best heavyweight the UFC has right now. Sylvia is a very difficult guy to fight. You need to overwelm him, which is hard because he's such a monster and has great striking. I think The Pitbull will demolish anyone put in his way with the exception of Vera, which is the best possible HW fight they could make in my opnion. And as of now i'd say 60:40 in favor of AA, i still have to see more of Vera. He's showed very well rounded skills, but so has AA and with crazy explosiveness.

AA was on a real run for awhile there and was oozing with confidence. he had alot of quick wins after he beat Sylvia for the belt. i think the guy felt he was invincible or something, and to be beaten by KO that second fight must have really rattled AA's mentality. he came into the 3rd fight cautious(which is'nt bad) but he lacked that explosiveness and overwhelming style that he's showcased in so many previous fights. its for sure AA will be back but his fanbase and support structure will be much smaller than before. everyone who jumped on the AA bandwagon probably were all jumping off after being beaten by Tim again. even a good fighter like AA will often beat themselves before they even step into the cage against their opponent.

That is true. One of those things that only time can tell. I hope that isn't the case though, regardless of how people place him in the rankings, it's hard to disagree that he's usually the most entertaining HW to watch. And the scariest looking lol.

I'd like to see AA vs Vera, only problem is that if AA loses 3 in a row he might be out of the UFC! Buentello is currently a free agent, who knows when or if he will be fighting in the UFC again and it looks like Monson will fight Syvlia for the title in the near future. AA definately needs to win his next fight though!

I think AA was gassed. He stopped his leg kicks in, what, the third round and went to straight boxing. His leg kicks were very effective against TS early but he just stopped. AA was rocked early and that made him too conservative. Very disappointing fight. Where was the takedown, AA?

Just looked at UFC.com and, early in his UFC career, AA went to three rounds losing against Rizzo and Ricco Rodriguez, both by TKO.

Ugh...
The one thing that irritated me about AA was that he dropped the leg kicks after the first round when it was obvious they were doing so well. Why his corner wasn't yelling "LEG KICKS" over and over and over is beyond me. Take away TS's legs, and he no longer can strike effectively and becomes timid enough to eventually allow a take down.
Ugh, 25 minutes of plain old boxing.

I think AA will be fed a few nobodies over the next little while so that he can be built again but won't ruin anyone else's rise in the division. And in due time the pitbull will get his belt back

Mir? Ouch, did I really write that? Did you see how distended Mir's stomach was? A junior Tank Abbott...

Arlovski/Mir makes a lot of sense right now, but it's just unfortunate it won't be a heavy-hyped title fight. :/ That really saddens me.
I hope both guys build back up and end up meeting in a title fight someday. They are both still VERY young and both have a long way to go if their desire stays up.
Right now, Vera and Monson deserve a little spotlight. Arlovski and Mir need to work their way back up the food chain.

Munsen is a beast. I'd love to see Silvia v. Munsen. If Jeff gets inside the reach of Silvia, I think JM would slam TS to the ground and beat the living *!%$ out of him...
