but why? why would you want a fighter lose so bad?
you want these far superior guys to come back just to beat up on a TUF finalist? What would that prove, how would that advance the sport?
I would really like to see Carlos the Ronin Newton make a comeback to the UFC and fight Sanchez. The other fighters I would like to see come back for Sanchez are : Trigg, Verisimo, Bj Penn, Sherk, and would love to see Gsp or Hughes molest him and give him his first loss.

Is Newton that superior?
He's lost 4 of his last 6.The only big named fighter I remember him beating is Pat Miletich.I think it would be a good fight, but Newton has never really impressed me that much.
He's also gotten involved with the IFL and will be a coach for one of their teams starting September I think.
He seems to still be in pretty good shape, at least from the chance I had to meet him last month at Warrior MAC here in Newmarket.

i cant wait to see sanchez lost...
maybe he'll never lost if the ufc only giving him average fighters, but anyways... i started training some months ago for the only goal to be sure that sanchez lost so ill be there to kick his ass
wait, you're training just to give Sanchez his first loss? Sorry, but I'm pretty sure someone will beat you to it. It's going to take years for you to even be close to Sanchez's level...Originally Posted by L0cusT

No, ill pay some guys before the fight to hit him with baseball bats so that will help me.
I fail to see how Nick Diaz and John Alessio are average. Nick Diaz up until recently has been very impressive and taken out some good fighters. Alessio has some of the most impressive takedown defense i've ever seen. And he literally carried Diego on his back for the last 3 minutes of the fight. That is AMAZING. Nowhere near average. Neither may be #1 contenders, but they're well above average.
im sorry, but this is one stupid thread
Let's get back on track here or the thread will be closed since it's not really going anywhere.
Newton would get beat by Sanchez no question at 170. 185 Sanchez would still win, but it might be somewhat competetive.
i would have to go with newton on this one... i know it has been stated that he hasn't defeated any good fighters other the Pat but still in teh fights that he has lost some have been very close.... i mean if he hadn't been drope don his head by hughes he may have won that fight as it appeared that hughes was out fron the choke.....
like i said i hope that if thsi fight were to happen we would see the ronin of old but i also would tend to think that sanchez will have alot less rust
I hope that you all know that the term "Dirty Sanchez" is a highly offensive term. The CONSTANT reference to Diego Sánchez and "Dirty Sanchez" is also a highly OFFENSIVE reference. I am not happy that this is allowed when the forum rules state that disrespecting the fighters is not supposed to be allowed. Admins, please crack down on this reference as applied to Diego Sánchez.
Here is what it means, and I made sure that this was the cleanest description:Dirty Sanchez is a noun phrase describing the result of one partner having a poor quality "moustache" made primarily of fecal matter, applied by the finger or penis of the other sexual partner.THAT is highly offensive when applied to any fighter. Just because Diego Sánchez has the name Sánchez does not mean that he is open season to be denigrated in this manner. I am upset about this, yes. I like Diego Sánchez. I admit that. But, this "Dirty Sanchez" stuff needs to be stopped.

i mean, you got to join us in this, telling us that he'll win and that you like himand things like that, then if he really win you'll be autorized to tell us all to shut up about Sanchez, and i seriously will give him some respect if he can beat Karo! I promise.
Not just the thread title. This label of "Dirty Sanchez" is popping up in other threads. It is highly offensive. Diego Sánchez is a hard-working fighter that deserves more respect than this...Originally Posted by L0cusT

Thanks for the description sub I never knew that. It is pretty gross. Let's not use that name anymore people. I am a Diego hater and even I don't feel he should be referred as that.
i didn't even put two and two together until sub said something lmao
OMG Sub you pull some seriously weird stuff up from your hours surfing the web... relax its a name some of the guys at the gym were I train have given him, because he allways looks to be greasy and dirty... get your stinkin mind out of the gutter dude.
omg I can't stop laughing....ty sub.
Now can someone tell me what a blumpkin is?
yea there is a surprising amount of bull crap disrespect on this sight that somehow eluded me when before i had registered
The mods do an excellent job moderating most of it, but certain guys like to see what they can get away with
it certainly diminishes your merit in my eyes
