UFC 62: 3 more fights added
Here is the fight card with some new additions: (from mmaweekly)
-Chuck Liddell vs. Renato "Babalu" Sobral for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title
-Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar
-David Terrell vs. Yushin Okami
-Josh Neer vs. Thiago Alves
-Wes Combs vs. Wilson Gouveia
-David Heath vs. Cory Walmsley
The title fight is the only fight I really would like to see. Forrest and Stephan could be a great fight like the first one. But how can they possibly top their first fight? I think Forrest wins it comfortably.
I'll add more fights as they are announced. I'm not very impressed with the card so far. There need to be at least 4 highly anticipated fights (which hopefully live up to their expectations) to make a great card IMO, and right now I see one (the title fight) and to a lesser extent the Bonnar/Griffin rematch.

Neer, Thalves, Bonner, Griffin, Combs, Gouveia
ALL LOST THEIR LAST FIGHT!!
I don't understand this card at all. Like I said in another thread, this PPV (as it stands now) is the worst in a long time. I will, however, reserve my judgement until I see the final card.

honestly wat are they gonna do? I have no idea about the last time any fighters have fought, but I am sure medical clearance is a factor, also maybe contractual negotiations and what not
I'd rather have fights than no fights, good to have some hungry guys up there scrappin
*War the UFC getting more than 5 fights on the Pay-Per-View is all I ask

They're paying Liddell so much that they're trying to economize on the other fights.

easy don't buy it and just keep an eye out for the spoilers when the fight happens. Crap fights are just as worst than no fights imo. Talk about a waste of time and money.

I'm really looking forward to watching David Terrell vs. Yushin Okami. I like Terrell, and he definitely hasn't peaked yet.
I must say I'm quite looking forward to Bonnar/Griffin, even though I didn't find their first fight as exciting as most people. It was just a sloppy boxing match AFAIC. I'm hoping Bonnar shows that he really does have some ground skills this time.

i cant wait to see the Terrell fight. the only way i'll be happy with the Forrest fight is if he beats Bonner convincinly. i think there going in the oppisite direction i dont want to see Forrest taking steps back and i dont think Bonners ever really gonna be a force in the UFC. Personally i'd rather see Evans and Forrest on this card. blah.

I'm always amazed by people who declare a fight crappy before it's even happened yet. What makes a good fight -- two evenly matched guys with a lot of gas in their tanks who want to get in there and mix it up hardcore? Or just two famous fighters? Look at Ortiz-Shamrock II, Liddell-Couture III, Sylvia-Arlovski I, II and III, Hughes-Gracie, etc. Match-ups between big names with a lot on the line, and the resulting fights were totally disappointing.
It doesn't matter whether the guys in the cage are your favourite fighters, and it doesn't matter who they've beaten or whether there's a belt on the line. A good fight is a good fight. Do you guys love the sport, or do you just have crushes on some men and you're eager to look at them again?

Im excited to see the title fight of course but I'm equally excited about a Bonnar / Griffen II. Their first fight was amazing. Since that fight, as Ive seen each of their following fights, I believe that Forrest Griffen has shown more improvement, more ability, and more heart than Stephan Bonnar. I think that their second fight will end as the first one did, with Griffen the victor but I believe it will either be due to a (T)KO or a submission in the later first to mid-second round.
