Who should be inducted in the fame this time?
I think Tank Abbott. The man is a crappy fighter but no one is as entertaining as him. His fights always ended brutal except for that crappy Kimo fight at UFC 43. He may have a losing record but he deserves to be in the hall of fame.
Frank Shamrock is an honorable mention although he will never make it in. He was undefeated and literally dominated his weight class plain and simple. He's a legend in the UFC. If someone in the UFC beats Jeremy Horn and Tito Ortiz they deserve to be in the hall of fame no doubt.
Pat Miletich is a runner up for these two. Not only was he a champion and a heck of a fighter but he trains the best fighters in the UFC nowadays. He deserves to be in the UFC hall of fame next as well.
Who do you think deserves to be in the HOF next?

If I had to pick ONE from that list of mostly amazing fighters who have either been dominant or have been partially responsible for the evolution of the sport, Id definitely have to go with no other than Frank Shamrock
he did everything while in the UFC except for lose, the only problem being of course his current standing with the UFC, which from what I understand is hatred, at least on his part.
Most every fighter up there has an argument, though I believe ol Frank by far has the strongest claim

I think that Don Frye deserves to be looked at as well. He did some good things in the UFC and fought several times as well as winning one of the earlier UFC tourneyments at Ultimate Ultimate '96 (in which he defeated Tank Abbott in the finals).

I agree. Out of the choices, I cant think of any that deserve the HoF induction more than Frye.
On a side note, I think that the organizations should get together on a concerted effort to come up with an all inclusive MMA Hall of Fame. There are people, like Bas, who deserver a HoF induction, but its hard to argue for him for the UFC HoF because he fought so little in the UFC.

Most of those guys are deserving, but I don't think Oleg gets enough credit. He fought in the early UFC's and fought some big names like Shammy and Tank, and defeated them.He had a winning record, and brought a Sambo style that hadn't yet been seen in the UFC.
Plus he had the sweetest nickname ever.

I am going to say Frank Shamrock on this one. At the time he was also the man to beat in the Middleweight division.

i'd like to see Tank in there strictly on he was one of the building blocks of the early UFC's. you ask any casual fighting fan who he was and they knew. he could go down as one of the most popular fighters and i think that would deserve him an introduction with this Hof thing being realitivly new.

Pat, for his own achievements, as well as the achievements of the athletes he has trained and how they have helped elevate the sport.

Although I agree that Miletich would be a good choice, I doubt that UFC management is big enough to see past his involvement with the IFC and his feud with Dana.
Nevertheless, I voted for Pat.
