Also,he was cut with an illegal elbow,but because Fedor could not continue and because its was a tournament fight,they needed a winner to go to the next round. Because the fight was stopped TK gets the W to go to the next round and Fedor gets the L.

Fedor is still undefeated in MMA,should be considered a NC.

was I comparing the current fighters? no, be quiet. liddell would most likely ko all of the pride lhw's anyway: except silva, the guys amazing but thats gonna be settled.

i'll admit it was a little ambitious to argue his chances with fedor, but i dont think you could ever rule couture out of a fight so definitely. in lhw terms especially pride would not come out on top if the natural was around.

As much as i love Randy and Chuck they can not carry the LHW torch by themselves against all that Pride has. Throw Babaloo in there and it helps but Prides talent level is much deeper. Shogun has just as good a chance of beating them as Wand, Arona is a bad match up for anyone, I REALLY HATE SAYIN THAT, then you have Lil Nog. i guess we cant count rampage anymore but you get the idiea.

The times Randy was dominated was by bigger, stronger fighters and Randy wasn't able to use his superior wrestling to his advantage much like Coleman couldn't use it against Fedor. Coleman is the best wrestler in all of MMA, he did take Fedor down at will a couple times yet it still got him nothing except tapping so Fedor would let go of his arm.

I guess I shouldn't say he wouldn't have a chance since of course we can use the 'anything can happen' line. If that fight were somehow able to happen now with the 2000-04 Randy I'd still bet all my money on Fedor. Nothing against "The Natural" I love the guy, just my personal opinion. I don't think anyone is insane thinking differently.

that is true, the depth of prides lhw's surpasses ufc'c by faar. however i truly believe that altogether chuck liddell is the top 205'er in the world, and an average of fights between him and any other would result in the vast majority of victories going to the iceman.

About the silva loss. I guess when silva lost in 2000 to ortiz it turned silvas career around. I mean, if silva won the middlewieght UFC title, do you relaly believe he would be the fighter he is now?Would he have still went into pride fighting or stayed in the UFC? I somtimes wonder what would have happend if silva did beat ortiz, and to tell the truth im glad he did lose beacuse i dont htink we would be seeing "the axe murderer" become the dominant fighter he is of today's MMA world

tito won, they have both got better, same outcome, ppl think that pride is better and so therfore they think that if your in pride then you will win against the ufc. What about all that talk about aa moving to pride, yall would have said the same thing about him, he got stopped not once but twice. someone said the tito and liddel match didnt matter or something because tito had something to prove. well some fighters werent meant to have the belt (A.A, WANDY,TITO), i like watching there fights but none would have a chance, atleast not for awhile. Do you think chuck will let tito take him down? hell no. tito will dominate wandy in the 2nd fight aswell. NO JUDGES DECISION IN THIS ONE. I see mcarthy stopping this one. Let all the pride fighters come over and i think the ufc will pretty much send them back to pride. Do you hate me yet??? lol

Tito would not dominate wandy. No offense to tito, but compare teh people he has foughten, to who wanderlei has fought. You can go see on sherdog.

lol, how about wanderlei himself?

you cant say that tito hasn't faced world class opposition. granted he may not have won his bouts against chuck and randy, but i think them losses have done much more for his learning than any victories have. to name a few awesome fighters tito has fought; vitor belfort (who DESTROYED wandy), evan tanner, Vladimir Matyushenko, guy mezger and forest (maybe not reached the awesome stage yet but he's gonna make a serious name for himself in mma in the future.)

These are all pioneer fighters of Pride. and Wandy knocked guy mezger out in pride. Wandy has faced better fighters, beaten better fighters, and is the better fighter now. While tito was getting his fame after beating wandy, wandy went to pride and became the one of the best fighters in mma.

hes beaten a wider range of fighters, granted, but by no means better fighters. yoshida? no need to add him really. i'm pretty sure that the loss to vitor did have something to do with silva's move to pride. the beating tito gave him probably cemented his decision to stay there. i'm not gonna argue the fact that silva is now one of the best in mma today, but in my opinion he is the third best 205'er around today behind chuck and tito. and if randy was around he'd be knocked down to fourth (probably literally).

Titos resume doesnt allow him to be in the top 3 205ers. He needs to beat better people, im sick of seeing him fight shamrocks and griffins. And in alot of MMA rankings, wandy is at the top of the LHW's while tito is at the bottom half.
