Default What the heck?

Dana White is not planning properly. Heres why:

UFC 63: Already about 5 rumored fights.
UFC 64: Already about 5 rumored fights as well 2 titles on the line.
UFC 65: 4 rumored fights if you include chuck and wanderlei if its still on.

And then,
UFC 62: Only 2 fights announced, no other rumored fights.

And don't get me wrong, Fight Night 6 looks great but these matches should all be on UFC 62. I don't know what Dana is planning. Anyone else have any other possibly matches coming up in two weeks for UFC 62 because it doesn't look so good except for the main event. The co-main event is predictable and looks not important.

I heard from another site Yushin Okami is fighting David Terrell and Sean Sherk is fighting an opponent to be named for the lightweight title at UFC 62. Thats it. And it looks like not that great of a PPV IMO. Worse than 55 it looks like.

Terrell pulled out due to a sinus infection, and I believe Sherk is fighting KenFlo at 63 or 64.

Oh man now UFC 62 is going to definitely be worse than UFC 55. I'd rather see Forrest fight Sinosic than Bonnar. And plus in this PPV there is no Joe Riggs, Chris Lytle, or Chael Sonnen just Alves, Neer, and Franca the rest are no-name cans. Terrible. Now Chuck just needs to one punch Babalu and we'll have the worst UFC PPV in history.

Names don't make cards,fights do.

Franca and Alves are awesome, and we finally get to see Cheick who has been KOing everyone he fights.

Babalu vs Chuck is gonna be a great fight as well.

Bonnar vs Griffin might be entertaining, but I see Forrest taking it easily.

It's a decent card,not the best,but it's decent.

Wait till you see the fights to make such negative assertions.

If you just went to UFC.com they show exactly who is fighting in the PPV. It tends to be a little more accurate than say the rumors section of other MMA sites.

why are you judging on "rumored" fights?

dana white is doing an AWSOME job with the ufc. he is putting it out there of front street gaining tons of publicity and raking fans by the thousands on a weekly basis.

and like ryduce says....names don't make cards, fights do<<<<<well put.

I agree that names don't make cards, but if I would rather see good fights with fighters that I know are top class. On the other hand, I believe lesser known fighters should be given the chance as well since they may well become then next star if they are given a chance. Having a PPV card with the same pool of fighters with rematch after rematch will not sustain the UFC into the future. There is a balance that needs to be struck on PPV cards between new talent and accomplished fighters.

MMA freak (you should pick a different name, because you don't seem so knowledgeable about the sport), fighter bashing includes fighters you've never heard of. Some of these guys are former champions in smaller promotions, and they have winning records with some hard-fought battles. They train hard, they've devoted their lives to the sport, and they're tough S.O.B's who have earned their way into the UFC. To have some internet punk dismiss them as "no-name cans" when he's got no f**kin' idea who they are is really infuriating. Ten bucks says you'll watch UFC 62 and come away impressed with some of them, so why not just show them a little respect now?

I was kinda bummed out a bit cuz they were only announcing debut fighters and rookies, but I am really excited about this card now. These will be my thoughts about the main card, i cant really predict the undercards cuz i dont no much about them, but here are my thoughts of the main card.

Babalu vs Chuck - Babalu will try to shoot early, but Chucks sprall will keep Babalu away but Babalu won't get seriously hurt until around the 3rd round i think, then Chuck will get a KO in the 3rd round.

Forest vs Stephan - This I am real excited about because this will be different from the 1rst bout. Everyone thinks it'll be another stand up war, but I bet Bonnar will want it on the ground and he will try to take Forest down, so it may be a lot of shooting and spralling, a real close fight, anyone doubting Bonnar will take it to the ground, think back to Bonnar vs Irvin.

Thiago vs Josh - This is going to be real exciting match with striking and and submissions. I think that Thiago will choke out Neer with a rear naked choke late in teh 3rd round, and he will actualy choke Neer out cuz its no secret that Neer wont tap to any submission.

Hermes Franca vs Jamie Varner - I dont no much about Varner, but I still have to think that Hermes will KO him in the first round, guessing it wil be an even first round..

Cheik Kongo vs Christian Wellich - I dont no much about either fighter really but I have to think that Cheik will get a big KO, but I realy dont even no how to predict what round itll be.

Wilson vs Wes - I dont no really but based on Wilson's last match with Keith, I would like to predict a 3 round decision, but I cud easily imagin Wes submitting Wilson in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Cory vs David - Both are undefeated but I think that Cory will KO him.

Rob vs Eric - I dont no on this on either, but I know Rob is a wrestler, but I would pick Eric based on his record.

Yushin vs Alan - Yushin by submission.

i think its funny that some people are not satisfied with the UFC unless they put 8 main event caliber bouts on one card. the UFC has never been able to do that and that goes back to when the UFC only put on maybe 4 shows a year. the UFC is now able to put on a show almost every month along with some good shows on free TV. the UFC has done a decent job at serving up solid match-ups between veterans along side showcasing lesser known talent that has the potential to do great things.
