Tim Vs. AA 3! It just does not get any better than that kind of non-stop UFC action...
Just kidding
As for the poll i have not seen a bit over half the fights on that list, but from what i have, Diego Vs Karo tonight was the MOST exciting match.

Dont see how the Diego / Karo fight is more deserving over the Rich / Crow fight. That fight was a non stop all out war and for five rounds.

Yeh,but that fight was lopsided, while Diego/Karo was back and forth non stop action with Diego prevailing in the final minutes.
That was one of the greatest fights EVER.

maybe its the newness of the fight but i have to say it was one of the best fights i've seen. those Judo throws were nothing short of amazing. and how these two guys keep pushing and pushing for the entire fight. i was in awe. i dont see how any 3 round fight could be more exciting then what we saw.

Yeh I can't see how any 3 round fight can top that. Those were some of the best judo throws in MMA history.Diego was plain nasty on the ground and reversed everything. He almost RNCed him a couple times. Then he KNOCKED HIS TOOTH OUT.That was some craziness. Then Diego prevailed with a brutal GNP,after Karo gassed.Diego was about two punches away from getting the stoppage. The first time Karo judo threw him,I almost died from excitement.

Go back and watch the Herman-Grove fight again. Taking nothing away from last night, that fight was also back and forth the entire time with two guys who fought like crazy. It was my pick for most exciting of the year so far. My girlfriend is pretty anti-MMA, and even she got caught up in Herman-Grove.
Jras0001, I don't understand your opinion of the Franklin-Loiseau fight at all. You've said a few times what a war it was. How come everybody else saw a totally one-sided fight where Franklin beat the stuffing out of the Crow who spent most of the fight either covering up or retreating?

Fraklin vs. Loiseau was one of the worst fights I have ever watched. I simply don't find watching five rounds of a man taking on the part of a punching bag all that enjoyable.

I have to say, for a non PPV fight, Herman vs. Groves was fantastic.

How about Diaz-Riggs? That was a damn good fight. Especially considering that it spilled over to the hospital afterwards lol.

I agree that Herman-Grove was great and a close #2/#3 with GSP-Penn but i have to vote for Paryisyan-Sanchez because it's so rare to see even one Judo throw like that, and we saw so many different yet brutal throws. That combined with Diego knocking out his tooth and reversing control on the ground was great too. Back and forth action in every round. I think it was one of the best MMA fights of all time, although it does lack a certain amount of technicality that many of the champions have had.
