Seth Petruzelli vs. Matt Hamill
I'm a huge fan of Hamill my good friend trains with him in Liverpool, NY. Im just wondering about Petruzelli. How good is he? He hasn't fought since 04' but beat Dan Severn.

Hamill could easily move up if he wanted, but I can't see Seth moving down because he's huge.

If I'm thinking of the same guy you are, I think you mean Dan Christionson, but whatever. Seth will move down, he was supposed to fight a TUF 2 fighter a while ago and pulled out due to injury, think it was Murphy but not to sure. Very talented fighter with kicks, but watching him against Imes, he seemed very stubborn when it came to listening to his corner, didn't folow the orders, and he started losing the fight. It should be a fair fight then cuz Matt cant hear his corner, and Seth doesnt listen to his anyways.
Matt by ground n pound stoppage 1rst round.

Matt should win that fight. I was not that impressed with Seth in TUF.

He beat a 50 year old Dan Severn by decision. That's not saying much about him.
Matt should be able to school him,but if he tries to stand up with him he'll get KOed.

I've been waiting to see Hamill back in action. I like the guy and think he has a lot of potential in the LHW devision. I think this fight will be pretty good.

i think seth will win this.. i cant see hamil doing to well in MMA, i dont think he has a good chin, communication is an obvious problem (dont say its not an issue for a fighter), Seth has a win over Bob Sapp, if he can beat a man that big he should have little problems with hamil.
i respect hamil is a class wreslter but with the range of kicks seth has i reckon he should win this one

I read about that recent fight. It's not listed in the Sherdog fight finder because it was kick-boxing, not MMA. It was very short. Seth knocked Sapp down but Sapp got up and landed a shot on Petruzelli's neck that paralyzed his arm and he couldn't continue. Sapp won by TKO.

LOL. He had seventy takedowns in a season and that is a state record??? that must be a typo. Seth could easily drop to 205 and Matt will crush him.

If Matt tries to stand, even for a moment, he'll be destroyed in short order. Seth is a kickboxer. Big difference from the grapplers that Hamill's faced so far in MMA.

this would have to take place at 205... matt hamil would never move up, and seth is a very small HW. would be fun to watch tho, i still doubt hamil just a bit, and seth was the best TUF 2 HW IMO
