Sanchez already beat Koshchek, why should he have to take a step down? Sanchez is simply on a higher level then Kos. They should have Koshchek take on Karo Parysian first, if Kos manages a win over Karo then I would consider him on the same level as Sanchez and worthy of a rematch. Sanchez beat Karo, so in my opinion the next step for him is either Penn, GSP, or Hughes.

Yeah, but the URC, um UFC has this whole rematches thing going on. Anyway, Koscheck/Sanchez is more advantageous for Koscheck. He could pull the upset imo. Karo could take on Koscheck and if he wins that, maybe have a crack at one of the few WW's ahead of him.

There are alot of fighters that Diego should face before Penn, GSP or Hughes...how about Frank Trigg, Sean Sherk, or Joe Riggs...I don't mind seeing him on with Jason Miller, as well. He needs to beat 1 of these guy before I consider Diego to move up the top 3 rank

**** no!
Sherk is a lightweight now. Isn't Trigg retired? Even if he isn't, he doesn't belong there.
The top 4 WW's were Hughes,GSP,BJ and Karo. So, when Diego beats Karo, you give him someone tougher. And I don't care which one it is from those three, he's going down.
(Please, God)

obviously it would be more advantageous for kos, because he in no way deserves that fight unless he beats karo, which i think is a great suggestion for his next fight. gooners response pretty much covered what i would reply to special_k's comment. Trigg is retired aswell.

Kos/ Karo and Deigo and GSP. That is how it should be. Winner of Diego and GSP gets a shot at the title and the loser can fight KOS/Karo loser.

No way man, GSP is beyond Diego at this point. The only person GSP should face next is whoever is holding the belt, period. GSP fighting Diego would be like Diego fighting Kos...a step backwards with nothing to gain.

You can't apply that logic to MMA. Otherwise why should Karo have fought Diego? That was a step back for him. Sometimes you don't get to fight to advance your ranking, you have to fight to keep the ranking you already have.

Perfectly said. In regards to another gentleman's comment I would like to see Mayhem vs Kos. What ever happened to this guy?

I think fighting Joe riggs would be a step-back for Diego IMO. C'mon theres NO WAY Riggs would beat Diego.
I guess it would be worth it though, if only to tack another win onto Diego's Undefeated record.

I think his next fight will be GSP.
Because B pen took GSPs spot in the tital fight with huges.
So the winner or penn and huges takes on winer of GSP and the nightmare.
Or at least thats what I can see happening.

If that happens, I do not believe Diaz has a shot.
