..by a damn idiot dude that said nothing more than "Pride is better than UFC" or "Hed get beat in Pride" or "They should send Mike Tyson to UFC so he can get wins" or **** like that

****er had nothing better to offer than "PRIDE IS BETTER" I'd say "Well it isnt right to say, im sure some fighters are better than others and it goes both ways" dude is like "NO MAN PRIDE IS BETTER UFC SHOULD GET RID OF THE CAGE PRIDE HAS BETTER RULES"

i mean, all ****ing night, it was so freaking annoying

well i just want to hear if anyone else has experiences like, it was so bad it ruined an enjoyable night of great fghts...go move to ****ing japan why do you bother coming to PPV you dont like, you know?

I've seen UFC events in bars, and it's always infuriating to listen to the know-nothing S**t-talkers. Especially because as a lot of them get drunker, they get riled up and feel like fighting so any challenge to their opinions translates into some invitation to throw down, which is idiotic.

I love Big nog and Silva AND Overeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem.... but s-talking is pretty.... gay. great mma is great mma.... ufc or pride or wfa or belfort vs sobral in an elementary school yard.

the verdict.. ignore them. THe UFC is plentyyyyy legit. Let BJ fight in pride or gsp... or hughes, the UFC ww's alone would reduce Pride to teaching proper peepee and poopee techniques to their fighters.
Talk like that never phases me, nor should it any UFC fan.

yea i know, but when youre used to being able to turn to a guy and discuss the fight in itself, and all you get is "man that wouldnt have happened in Pride" its like COME ON MAN

Ok, just break it down for them. (Dont get me wrong, good MMA is good MMA) IF someone keeps riding with Pride and never shuts up about it just say this. "Ok dude, who in Pride at 155 pounds would be Flourian or Sherk? Who would beat Hughes at 170, who would beat Franlin at 185, who would beat Liddel at 205, and who would beat Slyvia at 265?" The answer that you should get should be as follows (assuming they know MMA):1. er, 2. ah, 3. ooh, 4. maybe Silva, 5. Fedor. Then say you have one fighter that has a great chance at winning out of five. Case closes

Last night my friend's girlfriend was watching the fight with us. She was drunk from dinner and she's pretty annoying to begin with. She knows nothing about MMA and keeps yapping that she knows guys she grew up with that would kick these guy's asses. I mean, I tried to reason with her, but she's a total idiot. "But Jimmy is more in shape than this guy and I've seen him kick ass before". Outrageous. Thank goodness she passed out before the Liddell/Babalu fight.

Heheh too bad we can't set something up, pay a visit to "Jimmy", tie him up and then throw him into the octagon with a UFC fighter.

See how well "jimmy" does... Then videotape the look on her face when lil'jimmy is KOed in 10 seconds.
