Big John vs Babalu
ok so after Babalu gets KO'd, John steps in and Babalu went for a kneebar. I thought ok good idea, he might get Big John to tap. Then Big John rolls to the mount on Babalu. I think Babalu deserves a rematch.

hahahaha i love the humor
i do question whether he mistook John for Chuck or if he was trying to get up too fast as John was trying to to standard medical procedure

I don’t like the attitude of some of the fans who always like to complain. When they say if you had a quick fight that they wished it was longer and if you have a long fight they say you should have beaten this guy quicker. Some people you just can’t please. If it is so easy, they can put on a glove and do it themselves. I’ll watch them fight.

he clearly went for a kneebar. I remember another fighter going for Herb Dean after a KO.

I think he was in better position for an ankle lock, he really should have put his 2 legs in between John's leg and rolled for the kneebar

I think that Liddell is among the smartest (best) strikers in MMA. He makes every match about the stand-up and then he pursues and KO's his opponents. I am doubtful that anyone will beat Liddell any time soon.

babalu is such a warrior though,, big john gave him enough to recover and chuck put so much pressure on him he couldnt.. great counter punching and pursuing by chuck.. you cant fight chucks fight, and chuck will beat everyone in the world until someone (tito) takes him down and keeps him there

If Chuck loses it will be to Wanderlei or another good striker. Vitor gave him a run for his money, I'd love to see Vitor back in the UFC.

I like to see Vitor back in the UFC too. Wanderlei should fight Vitor again, since he lost to Vitor awhile back in the UFC. Then the winner might earn the chance to challenge Chuck for the belt and title, that is, if the UFC and Pride can work out their differences.

Babalu thought he had Liddell backstepping and he forgot his game plan and thought he could finish the fight! But he ended up walking right into Liddell's hands(literally!) Bablu should have went for the take down and tried to submit him if he thought he had Liddell dazed, which is what I guess he was thinking. Him trying to stand and fight Liddell was just plain crazy though!

Too bad the Big John vs Babalu fight was stopped too early. Hopefully Dana would give the fans what they want, and give us a free rematch at the next UFN, after the tito-shamrock fight.
I always wondered how good a fighter Big John is. He knows so much about mma, it'd be cool to watch him fight.
Anyone seen any videos of him fighting?
