AA vs Mir lets give the fans what they wanna see
How many think Arlovski & Mir should go toe to toe on UFC 65 or 66? This was the fight I was looking forward for a long time, yet it never happend. Im sure alot of people wanna see this as well as I do...Dana White should put these matchup on UFC 65 or 66 card...
Arlovski vs Mir - HW
Ortiz vs Babalu - LHW
Leben vs Terrell - MW
GSP vs Sanchez - WW
bonus: Genki Sudo vs ? (just because I like him)

do you know whats going on there buddy??
Ortiz is set to fight chuck in December why would he fight babalu before then?
GSP Should just be waiting for the winner of Penn vs hughes. Maybe the loser could fight sanchez

I'd like to see Ortiz-Babalu, but it's not happening (for a while at least).
No-one will want to see Mir-AA after Vera ****s him up.
And like asronn said, should be fighting BJ (the winner on saturday), and I think it's already been established as well.
Leben-Terrell? I'd prefer Leben-Swick the rematch personally, but sure...

AA is coming off a devastating loss.
Do you want him to have a broke arm as well??

I know for a fact that Mir has already dropped 20lbs.
A 240 Mir is champ.
A 230 Mir is almost unbeatable.

I think it's a bit more complicated than that. I'd put AA above Vera. And i think even an in shape Mir is going to have a tough time with Vera.

Once Mir get's back to the point he was at before his accident he can run the division. Physically he should be there, it's just a question of where his heads at.

Ryduce, where do you keep up on Mir? His website and myspace place don't see much update action.
Mir needs vengeance on Freeman - Vera might get him if he catches him in a overwhelming flurry of strikes like Freeman did but I think that smelled kind of flukey.. and Vera doesn't seem to have that kind of power. He might in his kicks.

MIR babyyyy!! I hope this fight does come about but as was previously said... once Mir gets everything straight... head included. I'll take Mir over AA.

That info on Mir is coming from Vera himself.Vera is from Norfolk(Where I live, work, and train),and there are some guys out here who are pretty tight with him.One of them spoke to him recently, and he said he knew for a fact that Mir had dropped a bunch of weight.
Take that for what it is.You may not trust me as a reliable source and I don't blame you.But I'm pretty confident in what I've heard.

Should be a good fight, but I would lean towards AA.

-Mir will never be the champ again.
-AA would
a) be a skinny-ass mofo at 205
b) lose to Chuck at that weight, without a doubt.
It's more likely, that Chuck moves up to fight AA at HW. There have been talks about it, after all.

It dosent matter if Mir wins or lose agaisnt Vera both AA and Mir are easliy the top 4 HW in the UFC...both are trying to prove something at this point. Ortiz is gonna get knock out by chuck so Im counting his out already, after UFC 65 he should face Babalu
