Default 40,000 Posts in the UFC area

40,000 UFC posts, we can call that a milestone, no?

Thanks for making this the best place for in depth and intelligent UFC discussion!

40,000 posts in the whole span of the UFC discussion? Not bad.

Oh and as usual--- Fightforum damn near closes down on PPV night. So many people are trying to get in and post at once, that the site must buckle under the pressure because it happens everytime.

After Matt Hughs beat Penn, this site was completly inaccessible for the rest of the night

We are in the process of moving to a new server, so hopefully we won't have any problems in the future. You are right though, we get tons of hits during events.

Yup the site does that every time, even on UFN events, like with Diego Vs Karo(UFNs are practically free PPVs though).

BTW do you know if the site literally "shuts down" during that time, or stays up but only a certain amount of posters can get through?

I'm on Dial-up BTW and could not get through for anything. Perhaps my net connection could'nt compete with those on high-speed.

Yeah last night after the PPV I wanted to see what people had to say, and operation timed out every time I tried to come here so I just waited until the morning lol.
