Who has pushed the action???
Let me give you ONE guess as to the last fighter that's actually pushed the action vs. Chuck who wasnt afraid!!!
TITO!!
And he lost! But at least he pushed!
White, Horn, Couture (twice) and Sobral....All Jokesters (No offense) who bought in to the SLOPPY CHUCK belief.......And ALL GOT KO'D!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tito always got rode hard that he never beat anybody! Well, Ok, fair enough, let the games begin... Who exactly has Chuck beaten?
A washed up Vitor (who Tito EASILY Gnp'd - sorry Vitor fans, Vitor wasnt even close against Tito's GNP on that fight)
then Chuck Fought TWO OVERCONFIDENT
Randy Couture's (sorry again, but the truth hurts the most) which actually forced Randy's retirement
Tiger White? (Good Fight, but TUNE UP)
Sobral??? (Again another grappler that wonders why they can't take Chuck down and its cause YOU GOT TAGGED!!!!)
And Jeremy Horn? (OUt of Order of course)
That fight only happened for name recognition alone. Everyone in the REAL MMA world knew Horn had no chance....Up to the point where Chuck hit him so hard he still Cant see a year and a half later!!!
(Anyone heard from Horn lately???) No offense!
Chuck - "Where's that Big Headed Fool..........This man, This man keeps me motivated to train!" (Chuck commenting on Tito after disposing a 10-0 in his last fights Sobral)
Tito has a chance....A BIG CHANCE!!!!!!!

I disagree 150%!!! Chuck has stopped pretty much every one excluding Rampage. Chuck is a killer, he cannot be stopped. And he did not fight cans. The Chuck and Belfort fight was in UFC 37.5. We are going into UFC 64! That was a long time ago. And if I recall correctly Chuck knocked out, not once, but twice, Coutre. The same man that beat Tito soundly for 5 rounds and spanked him literally. To say that Chuck will lose against Tito is insane. Chuck by T/Ko before the end of round 3! Im betting every point I have.
Dont get me wrong though. I think that Tito is a great fighter who you have to respect. AFter Liddel is gone, I can see Tito being Champ, but right now....no

If Tito will be the champ again (after Chuck retires), I think that will be a sad reflection of the state of UFC's LHW-division.
I don't believe he'll ever be the champ again.

I don't know guys. I guess you haven't watched their first fight that carefully.
Tito held his own in round one. Had he been able to prolong the fight and test Chuck's cardio?
I don't know. Tito is one who learns quickly from his mistakes and trains like an animal and I will always side with the well trained animal vs. the one who relies solely on power.

im not even gonna cite Tito vs Griffin as the reason why Tito cant beat Chuck. all im gonna say is all of Tito's strengths get countered by Liddells strengths. Tito is a GnP fighter who pushes the action and has great cardio. Chuck is a bomb throwing maniac with good cardio who cant be held on the ground. what is it you guys think Tito is gonna do to Chuck. Titos best chance of winning this fight is threw a decision and thats 5 rounds of trying to not get knocked out. and i have yet to see a Tito fight where he doesnt eat a big shot. and i havent seen to many clean shots from Chuck without someone tasting some canvas.

If Tito beats Chuck, there is no telling how many excuses the Fight Forum community will come up with. I'm actually hoping for it to happen just to see the shock at this place. It would certainly be priceless.

If Tito's going to win, he's going to have to ask that Chuck stop training and eat McDonald's every day up to the fight. Then he's going to need to get in touch with Chuck's trainer John Hackleman and learn everything about Chuck's arsenal. It might also be a good idea to pick up some stand up skills with him too. Then he might have a shot at actually winning.

The real reason why I quoted you is because you say that we didn't watch thier first fight carefully. Chuck was simply feeling him out for most of the first round, and when he did start to go after him he banged Tito up against the fence followed by a vicious kick that bent Tito. Lucky for Tito he was able to block it. And of course Tito did the whole "BRING IT BITCH!" thing that he does when he gets hurt (remember Cote's initial knockdown?).
So in my opinion, this doesn't really count for holding his own since there wasn't anything to hold...other than his soon-to-be-crushed ego.

Chuck can eat all the garbage he wants..it doesn't take too much cardio to counterstrike.

tito needs to avoid getting caught by chuck at all costs, let the iceman gas and then try to take him down and be smart and flawless the whole five. tito has champion talent period. can he beat chuck this time around? odds are against him but its gonna be a great fight to watch and if the huntington beach bad boy pulled it off i would be a happy fan. lets go tito.

Tito HAD champion talent period. Elite-level MMA has passed him by, he's too one-dimensional. He will be exposed by Chuck, then by Rashad IF he dares to face him.
odds are against him but its gonna be a great fight to watch
Have to agree with that. Everyone loves to watch Tito fight, fans or non-fans. He is a major personality. I just wish I had half of Tito's talent for business.

I don't think elite-level MMA has passed Tito quite yet, but his years are certainly numbered. I don't think Tito will beat Chuck because of Iceman's great takedown defense, but he "can" beat him. Ortiz is more than capable of keeping his top-10 LHW world ranking.
Like someone else mentioned already, Tito will have to keep his eye on the prize instead of Chuck's fist. If Tito goes in prepared to go all five rounds, he will be very successful. If he goes in and tries to stand with Chuck like he did last time, it's goodnight nurse in the first or second round.
If Tito survives the first three rounds, it will get very interesting.
I just can't wait to see how many buyrates this thing is going to get.
