at the end of the day Tito has only lost to Guy Mezger(within his first 5 fights) Frank Shamrock(within his first 5 fights) Chuck and Randy. He beat Wandy, he beat Vitor and everyone in between. He has a very good shot at winning this fight

And he gassed with Frank Shamrock. That is what turned him into the cardio freak that he is.

I went with Chuck via KO. Probably 2nd round. I don't think that Tito is going to be able to keep chuck off his feet long enough to do any damage. I don't think Tito has done all that much since losing to Chuck and Randy. I think he is a good #2 fighter. I can't see him beating chuck. Who knows though.

Let me preface my first comment by saying Chuck is one of the best strikers out there pound for pound and I hate when Chuck haters complain about "Oh he just eye gouges everyone!" Now that that's out of the way, Tito clearly got poked in the eye wich caused him to cover up leading to his beheading at the hands of the crazy machine called chuck lidell who seems to have medieval maces for arms.
In the first round of that fight Tito did very well defensively in the standup. His standup was far cleaner and more precise than Forrests in thier fight.
I think Tito has a very good chance of defending because while standing up he's not going to rush in wide open on chuck like everyone else seems to. That is what got Randy (x2) and Babalu knocked into another dimension.
Also, Tito has INSANE cardio.
Tito will be able to defend the standup, will far outlast Chuck, and when he gets tired, GnP. It's not a matter of Randy is a better wrestler than Tito... it's that Chuck is going to be dead tired when they go into the later rounds when Tito finally gets the takedown. I think that on paper Tito can win this, but Chuck has 25 minutes where all he has to do is land one punch to end this.

This is absolutely fight of the year for me. I already have it marked on the calendar. DEC. 30!!! I wonder who else is going to be on the card. Anyway, its going to be a great fight. I have Chuck by KO before the end of round 3. I think that the only way to beat Chuck is by Tito's GNP but unfortunatly, I dont think that it will go to the ground. Lets not forget that Chuck used to be a wrestler as well. I think that Chuck will frustrate Tito and make him stand with him. Then the knockout will occur. BUT HEY!!!!! ITs a fight, looks to be a great one at that and you know what they say, anything can happen. Hell, maybe Chuck gets drunk before hand and starts talking to Jenna. Who knows......

Horn took some shots and went in to the later rounds. I believe in the last half of the fight that Chuck will need more than one punch due to fatigue. If Chuck KO's Tito I think that it will be in the first 2 rounds otherwise I think Tito stops Chuck with GnP in the championship rounds.

For everyone who didn't pick up on what I was saying about Randy not being able to get Chuck to the ground, but one time in their last two fights, and within seconds Chuck was back on his feet. It was just shown on Unleashed. Listen: Randy Couture is world beater material, as a wrestler...and could not get the GnP on Chuck. I won't say it can't happen, but if Randy can't do it the Odds are heavily against Tito doing it. Randy threw Tito like a rag doll...am I the only one grasping this concept?

If Tito gets a takedown on Chuck and ANY significant strikes then I will be utterly stunned. This ones gonna be UFC 47 on replay -- well the main event anywayz. And what birthday present to me, thank you Dana!

my whole perception is this:
tito's game is getting his opponent to the ground. chuck has the best take down defense in the game. i didnt see his loss agains rampage, but randy got chuck down in their last fight for about 5 seconds. before that, the last time he was taken down was 2003 against randy as well. if tito had trouble with forrest in the later rounds, then he is in for a long, or short day against chuck.
my prediction is .... if it goes to the second, its because chuck is waiting for his moment. chuck KO early in the second.

This is gonna be a exciting fight , Will probably break PPV records in the process . The true question is why on earth is everyone excited about this fight ? A Wandy Silva vs chuck fight , or a chuck vs cro cop at 215 weight class but Tito and chuck ???? You got mouthy ortiz who has fought a 42 on the verge of retirement Shamrock TWICE ! and a fight with Griffin that could of gone either way , Not only is chuck gonna knock tito out but probably in a short fashion . What are they gonna offer a free Spike TV 3rd rematch to say sorry to the fans again. I think the worst part of this fight no matter what happens Tito will never be a honest good Sportsmanship kinda guy, he gets knocked out and he will blame it on a Flu , or a hang nail or his dog died 2 days before the match. There has never been someone with so much talent yet such a complete child when it comes to things not going his way .

I say give my man Mike Van Arsdale a shot vs Chuck, you'll at least have a first round take down attempt -- rather than 5 mins of dancing and a few attempts at deflecting chuck's jabs.

i went for a chuck KO, as i predict this with all his fights. the way i see it is, if tito wants to stand it will be a quick and easy KO for chuck around the 1st or 2nd, if tito takes him to the ground presuming he can get him there and kepp him there then tito will dominate in gnp. again if the fight goes past or into the 3rd im taking tito, im really unsure of chucks cardio as i think he is a lazy fighter who relies on his takedown defense and KO power, tito however has one of the best takedowns hes faced and kepping him there will be a task for tito, but the longer the fight goes the better it is for tito.
its either going to be chuck randy 1 (victory tito) or chuck randy 2 (victory chuck) in the exact same style.
whats the odds on an eye poke btw

Liddell by KO in round 1. Tito looked good against Shamrock but bad against Forrest - excluding round 1. Honestly can't see Tito pulling this of. But I may give him to the second round, but that's it.

I think he was talking about retirement. Not sure if that is 100% accurate though.

I am probably one person who thinks that Tito didnt do that poorly against Chuck the first time.
Both fighters were very very careful. Neither wanted to make a mistake in round one. Tito landed some good leg kicks and landed a couple of decent one two combinations on Chucks face that slowed him up a tad.
Then Tito had a retarded takedown attempt that Chuck simply laughed at. Then Chuck attempted to throw a head kick which Tito blocked beautifully.
Then in round two, Tito landed some good leg kicks again, then what happened? Chuck throws a punch open handed and catches Tito in the eye with his thumb (You easily see Tito back away rubbing his right eye and his hands were down)...Then....BOOM Chuck jumps on him leading up to Tito's KO. Tito blocked a few of Chucks punches well at the beginning but Chuck wailed on him with so many so fast it was all over for Tito.
I think Tito will be smarter this time. If I were TIto I'd keep throwing those good leg kicks and try to wear Chuck's legs down for a takedown. If Tito Takes Chuck down and manages to land a few elbows or punches, I think Tito has a chance.
Tito's biggest chance is his cardio. He's a freak and if he can challenge Chuck's cardio, I think toe to toe on stamina, Tito can win.
But if Chuck catches Tito again????
Good night!

I cant see Tito winning this fight. Chuck has the best takedown defense in the game and Tito cant match his standup. Chuck will knock Tito out in round 2.

If Tito enters the ring with the same gameplan he had with Ken, I think he has about a 50/50 chance. If he gets roped into standing he will lose.

What if Tito wins?
Then what?
Who's next?
Or will there be a rematch?
