Silva is scary good. I kept yelling for Franklin to uppercut while he was in Silva's clench but then I noticed Franklin's mid-section. I think Silva cracked Franklin's ribs.

I'm not willing to go nuts about Florian, because he did, afterall, get beaten 5 straight rounds. However, that fight was exciting, and along with the dominant Silva performance, I think it redeemed the card.

I dont think Ive ever seen anyone stand there and take so many unanswered knees to the midsection as Franklin did. I was very surprised at the outcome of the fight as well. Also, Franklins nose was just mashed to the right side of his face from one of those nasty knees, definitely broken. Rich looked very rusty to me and like his timing was off. He didnt look ready to fight in my opinion but I have to hand it to Silva, that man is a very very dangerous striker. Its going to be interesting who they throw to Silva next and who Rich's next fight will be with.
