There really needs to be a new rule in the sticky about no Event bashing and demanding money back, it always seems to be the new posters doing this.

Ya, thats always a problem after each event. Every time there is a PPV, there is a flood of new fightforum members on here that imediately start bashing fighters, bashing the event, demanding money back (as is this is the place for that), and personally attacking people in threads. Its pretty sad sometimes....

NOTHING wrong with complaining about the events sucking, if you don't like it, don't read....
....BUT there should only be 1 thread about it. I see about 2-3 on the page. The mods need to start merging threads and keeping all whining about the PPVs, confined to 1 thread.

Yeah that wouldn't be bad, only thing is, with event bashing comes major fighter and organization bashing, and fighter bashing is already against the rules.

I never complain about any MMA event.
I'm a fan and I do everything possible to support the sport.
If you can afford it,watch Pride tonight people.Competition is good for the sport.

At least FF doesent have stupid ass threads like on Sherdog,MMA.tv etc titled
"What kind of Desktop Do you use?"
Or
"What Ringtone Do you Use!"
Comeon, FF isnt that bad in the whining category!

Actually, there was a thread here about desktops and what people used along with pics of several. Its just not located in the UFC or PRIDE sections of the forum. They are where they belong, the off topic forum.

i think that as consumers and fans, we have a right to assess and discuss that which we just paid for, but i concur with many of you about the whinning. it seems to me that if you baought a ppv and YOU felt it was lachkluster at best, i look forward to hearing why it was not what you had hoped, but i expect it to be respectful and intelligent. this: THE WHOLE THING SUCKED, FIGHTER X IS A ___!! AND DANA SHOULD HAVE... AND BLAH BLAH BLAH!!
if you got something to say about an event, express yourself in a respectful manner, and use big people words.
if you have a beef, put it on the grill. i encourage discussion in every fashion form and facet, just doent be a ___about it. and rather than simply pissing and moaning, offer an idea as to how to make it better (and dont say: stop the next event from sucking).
we are all fans and we are members of a community in this forum. we should be free to engage in discussion, as it is the piont of thus forum...just be an adult, be respectful, and expressa nd communicate in a fasion that a person could respond to.
for example, when a person say event X sucked *$%^, how is this conductive to the sport or this forum. i come here for the discusiion and the sharing of ideas with people of similar minds and thoughts, we all love this sport, but if you just wanna hammer on teh industry, quite buying and quit whinning. if you want to talk about something worth speaking of, i look forward to hearing from ya.

Maybe if you guys started warning people to use the Search before starting a thread and then booting them for repeated offenses, it might go down. But that is just more work for you guys so I dont know if it would work or not. This, IMO, is the best MMA forum out there and Ive been happy with it so far....except for my inabilty to win more than 1/3 of my bets that is. Thank God I dont bet real money on this, Id not have an internet connetion to bet with if I did.

Well that is the way it goes. The people that get booted are the ones who can't comprehend the concept. They are referred to read the rules. The biggest problem now is fighter bashing. Some people think that a forum means you can say anything you want because it's public, but that is the reason there are rules posted. The only people who don't get much of a chance are the obvious trolls, constant fighter bashers and spammers.

I hate to stir the pot but to the threadstarter, use some brain cells.. don't swear or attempt to be cute in your avoidance of the swear filter.
