Franklin is a great all-around fighter, but I dont remember the last time I saw a champ get owned like that.

Every fighter will lose someday, and every fighter can suffer a bad loss like Franklin did. But we don't need you kind of attitude here.

Hughes/BJ comes to mind.

PS- Tito Ortiz is 5x the fighter that Big Nog and Frank Mir are... if they ever fought Tito would dig a grave and KTFO out of both of them with only his left hand.

After that everybody knew Franklin was getting hurt bad. I just hope he isnt going too take another 6 - 8 months off MMA.

I think he might need that 6-8 months. He probably got injured pretty badly in this fight, and should take the time to recover. I dunno if it'll need to be 6-8 or more, but I hope he takes all the time he needs, so when he comes back he'll be in perfect health.

With the UFC 64 medical suspensions now available, shouldn't the UFC 63 ones be out too? I am curious what they had to say about Penn.

He claims to have been 100 percent for this fight; I hate to get you upset again but I fear it will take more than his best to beat this particular fighter.

Hey, I agree with you.
I don't think anything was wrong with him going into the fight with Silva. I agree with you, he was 100% OK, and lost because Silva's the better fighter. It's what I've been saying all along.
What I mean is, I hope he recovers from this loss, since it was so demoralizing. So when he comes back he'll be good again (but still not as good as Silva).
