Serra/Lytle (Spoiler)
Serra wins a split decision. I actually gave the fight to LYtle 29-28 but it was definately close. Kinda slow paced and boring. I can't believe Serra called Hughes a dick on live national TV like that

Serra/Lytle
Ok first off I'm glad Serra won. Second...why was Lytle slapping Serra like a little girl...I mean come on, if he would have closed his fist it would have done more damage...and with the scoring...I felt that Lytle one the first round in a very close one...Serra won round two in an even closer one...Serra won the third round...How the Judges thought 1 fighter swept all three rounds is beyond me...what do you guys think?

I gave it to Lytle as well...Don't know how that wasn't a draw at the very least. Sera got 1 takedown, but did absolutely nothing with it. Lytle landed more body shots and worked on Serra's face on the takedown attempts.

Yea it was slow paced so that makes it even harder to call. I'm biased towards Matt Serra, so i can't really make an objective call.

i acctivated an account to say this... I feel Lytle was robbed. he matched Serra at Serra's game which is take downs. he defended the take downs excelent and the one time he was taken down Serra couldnt do anything, while when Lytle took Serra down he was more active. Standing up we all know Lytle would win.. I think the excecutives or who ever is in charge favor Serra for the fact that he is more popular and probably will get more paper view byes when ever Serra fights the champ.. just wanted to post this and see if anybody feels like i do any.

LMAO, that was funny. Serra's funny... a cool guy and all, but I'm with you. Lytle got robbed IMO. I had it 10-9 Lytle, 10-10, 10-9 Lytle. Great show of takedown defense and nullifing Serra's ground game. Congrats to Matt.

Agreed with Serra bascially calling Hughes an overhyped Prick.
I like Lytle, he'll be back. We haven't seen the last of him.
The overall show was average at best. That MT fighter Kampman was the best fight IMO. But.
Din Thomas telling Joe Rogan "I'm not gonna explain my training to you. You won't understand! Its too high level for you!"
I LOVE IT DIN!!!! Tell that jackass Rogan the truth. He's glorified MMA fan who just incidentally is the PBP for the UFC>
FIRE ROGAN! Get a REAL FIGHTER in as the PBP like every other freakin sport with ex players and shut Mr. Worm eater host up permanently.

Why would you give Lytle the last round...it was pretty clear that was the most decisive round of the three in Serra's favor...I agree that Lytle won the first...the second may bring up some controversy but I can see why the judges would give it to Serra because he controlled the whole round...I don’t think any fighter swept, for sure...

I too just activated an account to say this. Joe Rogan knows all. H eknow more than most of the UFC fighters. If you brought in fighters to announce you would just get babble like the idiots in pride, great fighters though. they just need Joe Rogan. Leave the acting to the pros. Fighters arnt the best public speakers. Sorry but its true, they do have less brain cells. And Lytle got robbed, everyone knows it. the UFC is rigged for better ratings, anyone see the franklin- silva fight. he threw that fight. To get more viewers world wide. (deleted)

OK, first, the fight was very close, I don't believe lytle got robbed.. so thats not everyone . The fight was very close and could have gone either way. Second, saying franklin fight was worked... come on now, he went into the fight with a bad game plan and silva did what he does best. Finally, calling serra a punk? seems like fighter bashing to me. You might want to go reread the rules.

I gave Lytle the 3rd for several reasons. I also watched the 3rd round again to be sure. At the beginning of the 3rd Lylte thows a quick 1-2, catching Serra with the 2nd. Serra DID get a TD, but did no damage at all. As soon as the fight stood back up Lytle was the one pressing the fight, stalking Serra. When they clinched, Lytle landed some nice body shots and a quick left to Serra's head. Serra landed some body shots too, but Lytle's looked stronger. 2 failed TD attempts by Serra. At 1:07 Lytle lands a good knee and follows up with a quick slap to the face... staying busy. Finally, past the 1 min mark Serra just seemed to be holding on to Lytle, while Lytle stayed busy with knees and body shots.

Did you just imply franklin threw the silva fight? Oh man...hope i made a mistake and you aren't THAT foolish.
Also--joe roegan knowing more about fighting than the fighters themselves? Same there.

Too bad, you shouldn't have activated an account if you are going to talk about Rich throwin g the fight and Lytle getting robbed. You sounded better as a guest. Ask Franklin's nose if he threw the fight.

Pathetic !!! how in the world did two judges give a 30-27 decision to either one of the fighters . I noticed a 70 year grandma as one of the judges in the background with her scorecard infront of her, I think UFC needs to take steps into getting there own judges and not going with the Nevada state athletic commission , we all know how they have destroyed boxing over the years. I thought it was bad when a judge gave all three rounds to Tito agaist Griffin but this was far more pathetic . I know your suppose to end the fight so you don't have to leave it up to the judges , but in anycase maybe getting ex ufc or ex boxing fighters to judge would make more sense then having a 70 YEAR OLD LADY who had glasses thick enough to make steve urkel look cool . Its just a shame to watch .

I thought it was Serra 29-28. Close fight. Not surprised by any of the judges scoring.

i think this fight shows how going to the Judges is very dangerous. i thought Ltyle won the fight hands down. when i heard the 30/27 i knew for fact Lytle was gonna win. i was super surprised two judges gave more then 1 round to Serra. i could see giving Serra a round maybe 2 but really which two. this was a freakishly close fight and i feel for Lytle because i think he won. oh well.

They wouldn't have fights in Nevada if they decided to use their own judges. Or anywhere is the US for that matter.
