I don't think anyone is worried about Matt pulling an upset on GSP... If Matt couldn't take Chris down. There is not much chance of him taking George down....

serra is going to get destroyed by gsp. lutter is going to get destroyed by silva. lutter may have a better chance against silva than serra has against gsp. thats not saying much though.

I agree. Serra's only chance is to get the fight to the ground (even then it would be tough for him), but if he couldn't take Lytle down there is no way in hell he can get GSP down. This fight will be over inside of two minuets with either a KO or TKO victory for GSP.

That's probably true unless Serra whips out his primal scream while taking GSP down -- TUF 4 -- Then it's clearly over for GSP

i dont see serra getting close to beating GSP. I think GSP will overpower serra and get an early win. I would like to see serra get some good shots though because I'm guessing he will be the underdog. Hopefully it is a good fight and doesn't end too quickly.

Who is going to turn down the possibility of free points? I win.

we could be the entourage??

we would look incredibly funny...remember when royce used to come out with 150 people? that could be us, only we would look like a scene from a horror movie, with our jaws hanging open, glazed over look in our eyes, pinching each other...

tom petty already spoke of this in the song zombie zoo lol

i remember matt serra saying how much he liked GSP and how well they got along and how he would much rather fight hughes.... i think he doesnt even want this title shot, especially since he plans to move down to 155

I know he is more suited at 155 and probably can't wait to get there but I don't see Serra rolling over just because he likes GSP...yeah he likes GSP better than Hughes but I'm sure Serra wants this title just as bad as he would want a LW title...except this time he just had to beat a few average/little above average fighters to get a shot...I don't think Serra will win, but I'm sure he will take this fight seriously and will try to 'bring it [the belt] back to "Long Island"...

Yea i don't think i'd go so far as to say he'd rather not have the title shot. And i don't think he's as eager to move down to 155 as most people think. Matt may be a short guy, but he's built very big for his height. Making 155 is very tough for him, especially because he's an italian man who loves his italian food =). That being said, if he losses to GSP, i highly doubt he'll stay at 170.

I don't see how. If he wins, he wins. He'd fair much better against anyone else in the division. I think the top-7 or so would give him a very hard time and i'd probably make him the underdog. Altough if he gets through GSP i'd have to really reconsider his status and skills. But GSP is the only person where i feel he has almost no chance. A lot of the top fighters in WW rely heavily on GnP or their ground game in general. And that's definitely not a gamble you want to take with Matt Serra. Nomatter how much bigger and stronger you are than him.
