Horn has absolutely NOTHING to lose by taking this fight. so he loses, its no big deal. he was beat by Chuck Liddell. on the other hand Chuck has everything to lose. he has to win, but will he?

They had the TV promo for Boiling Point on last night during Unleashed. Horn said "If Chuck thinks he's fighting the same fighter he fought six years ago then he's in for a shock." This may be true but the same holds true in regards to Chuck.
The first fight was in UFC 19 before the days of the blue Iceman shorts. Chuck was wearing black spandex shorts. 95% of that fight took place on the ground with both fighters swapping guard positions. Horn dictated how the first fight was fought and caught Chuck in a bad position with a choke.
Chuck's gameplan is going to be the same as it was for the second Couture fight. I think the result is going to be the same as well.

i disagree... horn isnt washed up... hes just a standard fighter that fights alot... like vernon white... and we all see what happend to vernon... not saying horn could ever beat chuck unless he falls down by accident..

Here's an interview with Horn, before UFC 53, where he guarentees victory over Liddell at the end. Check it out at Sherdog.com
"I'm gonna win. Absolutely. I guarentee it." - Horn

I thought he had chance at first cause he has a great ground game but now that he's talking about standing with Chuck....KTFO city for Horn.

I think this is hilarious. I bet if Horn wasn't fighting Liddell nobody who right now is saying, "1st round TKO", knows who the hell Horn is. Horn is by no means a Veron White he is way better than that. I'm by no means a Horn fan. I want Chuck to win, but you guys are disregarding him as a can fighter. Horn has won his Pride fights and most of his UFC fights. HE is dangarous. He isn't some big headed new commer. He has a 50% of beating Chuck.

Horn is great but his advantage is his ground game. He only narrowly lost a decision to Randy in a Japanese fight a few months ago, forget the details but it was close and Randy is one of the best so Horn is by no means to be taken lightly.
It does sound like Horn is taking Chuck lightly. The Chuck he beat is not the Chuck he is going to have to fight this time. I'm sure Horn has worked on his stand up but I don't care how much you've stepped up your stand up. A ground fighter who decided to step up his striking is NOT going to catch up the the Iceman. I think Horn's overconfidence in his new striking skills is going to set him up to be Chucks new punching bag.

As, long as Chuck come prepared, he will beat Horn to the ground. I will say that Horn is for sure working on a keep Liddell on the ground.

i doubt Horn is going to try and stand with Chuck no matter what he is saying in interviews. i just want to see a good fight and while 30seconds into the 1st round KO's are nice i'd rather it go into the 3rd round just so we can see some good stuff.

horn is saying this because he is right! he will win ! the guy who said earlier that there first fight was 95% on the ground was the reason why chuck lost..... well do you really expect anything different...... chuck is great fighter and the best light heavyweight striker in the ufc, but if you were to design a guy who could beat chuck it is horn..... a talented, experiened, submission artist with a solid chin....... chuck is gonna need to hit with with that one punch power or combo because if it hits the ground we will see chuck tap.

The poll on MMAweekly is at a perfect 50/50 on who everybody thinks will win.
I just can't see Chuck losing the title already. No way would he let that happen.

I don't think it'll hit the ground, and if it does, I think Chuck will be a'ight. You got to remember, the Chuck that Horn beat the first time is no where near the caliber of the Chuck that Horn will fight this time. Chuck's picked up some ground game. That with his great strikes...lookout. I won't rule Horn out completely, but I think the scales are tipped in Chuck's favor.
